enjoyed the course. I like have 2 pars 5's that are eagle-able. nice layout and the greens where tough enough to make it hard to really get low. Loved 18 as a last hole, it made you think. In the future I would like to see more courses have a shortish par 3. Like 135 to 145. It seems everyone we play now is a longer par 3, or the hole is short but has huge elevation changes. I concur with the par 3 lengths. Ideally I like one short one (pw-8i) 2 Middle sized ones (8i-5i) and one long one (5i-3i) A lot of courses seem to just abuse long par 3s. Hate using woods on par 3s unless a head wind calls for it.

Regarding to my main criticism of lack " Out Of Bounds" on this course (and to every other course): My main argument is that a course without O.B.s simply ain't a proper golf-course. Not because I'd necessarily want the course-designers to dictate of style they'd want to me pass-though their courses, but it's more of immersion argument alongside of course a "fairness" factors for which I why personally frown upon courses without O.B.s nowadays:
Um...I'll make sure to tell the hundreds of golf courses I've played that don't have "OB" that they are not proper golf courses. If you prefer it, that's cool...but it's completely unfair to say that a course that doesn't have OB isn't a "proper" golf course. That's akin to saying someone who doesn't have leather golf shoes isn't a proper golfer.

Which is fine in low winds, but now with higher winds it makes it almost impossible to hold a green. And when playing 3 or 4 of these in a round it gets a little boring

I do however understand that variety would be nice, just pointing out it wasn't almost impossible.

Hoodoo Hills was not a good course, gimmicky rubbish and artificially difficult. I will never, ever play that one again. This was a proper course.

You don't have to like every course, but let's not get into exaggeration here. Hoodoo Hills is far from rubbish, and it's insulting to designers who put in hard work to label it as such.

I liked both but slightly preferred this one as it did feel more real. Yeah, I know everyone is not going to enjoy every course picked. That's a near impossible task. But to call it rubbish is a joke. The amount of detail and mastery of the GNCD displayed in that course can be replicated by very few. I think it's a great course, as well, but I know that point is much more debatable.
