Policy on Input Devices TGC Tours takes the official stance that, to the extent we are able to police this issue, use of devices that produce perfectly straight shots (white line) repeatedly will result in immediate disqualification and discipline. See below for our two-strike policy. TGC Tours will conduct random spot-checks on exceptionally low rounds and tournament leaders/winners to ensure a level playing field. Members can also report suspicious rounds to commish@tgctours.comTwo-Strike Policy effective December 1st, 2014Strike 1 (scores removed, 1 week ban from Tournament play) Strike 2 (scores removed, permanent ban from TGC Tours) Thank you for your understanding

Nice one guys,It is a shame that some individuals will go that route just to see their name on a leaderboard.But after that statement i know i and alot of other legit players will feel alot better. Insert >golf clap< here, wish we had a smiley for golf clap  |

We all on this team have worked really hard to create this site for you all to enjoy, and we will make sure we continue to work hard to provide you all with the most fun, fair, and competitive atmosphere around to play TGC.

I wished I could find a way to "Cheat" with a trackball mouse .... LOL ... I'm all thumbs when it comes to hitting the ball straight!

Using 3rd party controllers isn't cheating.
Official 3rd party Controllers have been approved by Sony & Microsoft to use on their systems.
The ps4 hori was designed to be use on shooting games.
Anybody can purchased one.
Yes the hori like most every other 3rd party controller makes a good controller to use for golf video games because of more forgiving sticks.
Shame on you guys for thinking a player is cheating for using 3rd party controller.
Something that has been approved for use on the ps4 system.

The TGC Tours staff stand by the decision to ban certain controllers that allow straight shots to be performed at an abnormal rate. We did not lable it cheating but it is an unfair advantage and as such, it's well within our rights to police it on our tours.

Just played with DLW's ghost ball in turn order mode. Pretty clear which controller he's using.

I use a ps4 Hori yes majority of my shots are dead straight but there are missed shots. My good scores are a product of playing smart golf and making a lot of putts. Plus good math skills. Now for switching back to my stock controller. I'm in a wait and see mode. Very curious on what the final scores will be for the 2 beta tournaments. |

Please, let's not get into a word war here. DLW has expressed his concern and we have let him know where we stand. No one said it was cheating, just that it will not be allowed on our TOURS.
Think of carts on the PGA Tour. Riding in a cart is not cheating! But it's not allowed on the PGA Tour by their own standards because that's what they have instituted on their tour. Same concept.
