Just beat me to it Bob, was just going to mention that to him haha. That strong finish should keep him in the top 10 I should imagine.

To add to this: Kevin Hall will get his PGA card after this week is final, so his name will be off of this list.

I am SOOOO inconsistent. I have put together four good rounds in one week one time, and I won that week. This week was the extreme. Sucked it up on Thur/Fri to head to the weekend at a horrid -8 (total!). I barely made the cut (which when you have only 75 players is saying something). Then BOOM, 62 (with 13 birdies) and 57 to finish. First two days -8. Last two rounds, -25. I need just a little bit of cash to crack the top 10 (12th now), it just hurts me in my soul. FWIW, if you filter out the PGA players ahead of you that show on the list, you are actually in 9th place. That strong finish may help you out. Edit: Luke (Oswinner) has some nice tables for the Web $$$ list. The problem is Vincent Acosta and Stephen Thompson wont be caught and have a very good chance of not earning PGA cards in the Fed Ex, so my guess is they will still "earn" it then via the spot in the top 10. IF they earn it via Fed Ex, then yes I think that helps me. No offense, but you I can catch (Thompson and Acosta not so much).

Just becaus they got cards on the PGA this year does not mean they have one next year. They almost certainly will be in the lower portion that has to go back to Web finals. PGA this year is not really the topic, it is PGA next year, of which their "backup" plan for next year has to be the top 10, thus taking one from the 9-11 guys. I for one think they still "earned" that spot. Otherwise it would be dumb for Hall to accept a PGA card long term. Big thanks to Luke for the sheet.

Yeah I'm going to refresh it again on Monday with the top 25 active players too. I'm unsure now you mention it but I thought it was just web.com card holders so ones like Acosta and Thompson don't count.

Go to the main site and then Web.com--->Money List There is an option to click on called "Show Web.com Finals Eligible Players". This will filter out the PGA, Euro or CC players. It doesn't do anything about inactive members. I am not sure how that is being handled. Acosta, Thompson, and myself are taken out of the list when you use the nice filter Tim put in place.

I asked this in the year end thread tonight for Doyley. You unfortunately will drop off of the top 10 most likely (anyway), BUT chances are since you just joined the PGA you wont finish high enough to get a PGA card outright, correct? I think you should still be eligible for the Top 10 Web criteria if you were to hold one of those spots. Based on the guidance of bottom of Euro and PGA competing to "keep" their cards in Web Finals, wouldnt you have to go to web finals? Listen you (and most of these guys) are better players than I and deserve your PGA card (and would most likely earn it in Web Finals, but that is the way I understand it.
It is basically a this year vs next year discussion.

I am not sure of their FedEx pts standings. I will offer up this: I got my PGA card via Battlefield Exemption with 3 wins on Web. IRL that carries with it a full exemption for the next season and Doyley mentioned they would mimic this rule. If I fall short in FedEx pts for the FedEx Cup I am eligible to play in the Web.com Finals simply for WGR purposes and for that chance to earn an exemption to the Players Championship that Luke mentioned.

Ok, that is a piece I had not seen. "the mimic season 2 rule". It makes sense, you earned it. Going up to fight to stay there is a bit wonky. If that stays for Thompson and Acosta then Luke's graph is right. If not, then those in the 8-12 range on the money list should be cheering for Acosta and Thompson to "earn" their card via Fed Ex. None of this is about taking cards from deserving folks, Thompson/Acosta/You all deserve your cards, and should "earn" them in Fed Ex or money list (or mimic for S2), just wondering about trickle down. FYI - Thompson is in the 170's and Acosta the 190's in Fed Ex. But Vincent Acosta has been playing really well of late.

Here's what Luke had going: I greyed out Fox and Haga here. Fox because he doesn't have a WGR and hasn't played since June so I'm unsure why he's still on the active list as it looks like he's lost his card. Haga because if he doesn't play next week he becomes inactive as far as I'm aware. So there's two more spots that will open up.

Oh, the two inactives I completely concur luke. I think you are right there. I do think that Acosta and Thompson may actually still "earn" PGA cards for NEXT season on the web top 10 rule if they dont earn them in Fed Ex (unlikely) or were not given a "mimic second season" notation.

When I refresh the list on Monday I'll add the currently active Pro Tour card holders aswell just in case they drop back down into web.

Scott just answered.
1. Inactive players will be skipped as will those with pro tour cards 2. No, you need a PGA Tour card to play our FedEx Cup Playoffs and a European Tour card to play our Race to Dubai events 3. Once you get a PGA card you are not counted on Web.com Money list. Balzhiser has a tour card for next year due to battlefield promotion - the others will have to earn it via Web.com Tour finals (should be easy as there will be lots of cards available) if they don't make it into the top 100 after the 2nd event of the FedEx Cup playoffs.
