WINDY !!! Sheesh.. Rd.1 9-11 Rd.2 14-16 Rd.3 8 on first tee............. That's actually pretty calm compared to the last two weeks where we had 20+ mph winds in a couple rounds and never had single digit wind speeds for any round. This course is very narrow though, so even those winds will be challenging.

I concur on the winds. I have played 3-4 holes on round 4 and it is 9 mph so far.

Winds are all in similar directions all four rounds.

I just played two practice rounds on the Hickory Nut Hollow course last night. Either I was playing really well, or this week will be a birdie fest. I shot -10 in 9-14mph winds and -14 in 6-11mph winds. The only hole I really had trouble with, was that long par 3 (16 or 17??). I really liked the long par 4 on the front, with the trees guarding the green. That hole might be very tricky with a headwind. Gonna play a couple more practice rounds this weekend before starting the tourney.

I am not sure this will be the tournament I am eligible for or not, but it looks to be a birdie fest.

Already a 60 (-12) posted for round 1! That could be a good benchmark for all 4 rounds.
-48 would be a great score to post

I can't see the harm when the spoiler goes up. It either goes up because it's a spoiler or it doesn't in which case a spoiler thread is pointless? The information is there - do with it what you will

I just know that in week 31 I got my early Spoiler thread locked. Then for week 32 I asked last Sunday if it was ok to start a Spoiler thread, and Doyley said it was okay, because the previous weeks results were finalized.
Just my experience.

Maybe we can get clarification...

This is not an official thread. Doyle usually starts the official spoiler threads, although I really don't suppose it matters to most.

We needed some calmer winds with those ribbon fairways. Hard to believe this course was vetted and approved.

As we're not plotting treason I assume it's safe to say we can talk about the course and tournament that is already live on all systems.
Anyway, I doubt my rounds will amount to much!
