Doesn't seem like a course designed for 20+ winds! Will be interesting to see what the scores get posted

More double digit winds. I don't think we have had any single digit wind rounds since they brought the wind fix back. Would be nice to have a low wind round every once in a while. First round should be interesting with cross winds off the tee with narrow fairways in spots. Plus with those hard and quick parking lot greens the ball is going to run forever.

The wind strength should even itself out over time but it does seem as if we have more firm to strong winds across all the tours than light winds so far, it does become a bit wearing on the nerves

With high winds and concrete greens, the first round should be challenging. Hitting fairways will be a daunting task also.
Best of luck!
Note to Tim if you're out there...74 at the Brook this week and 78 at Riverbend. Ready for you!!

Just played. R1 and god those winds were brutal. Finished over par and saw more sand than a week's holiday at the beach. Horrible!

Even I finished over par in R1 - it's tough out there!

Ouch that R1 setup is brutal lol. Had to try it out after reading the posts here and finished at +2. Had it at even par until the 18th. With that wind and green speeds it seemed nearly impossible to keep it on some of those greens. Even landing it in the rough short of the green my ball would fly through off the back lol. Glad I'm not in the Web tour this week.

I believe I'll have an exemption for the PGA tour next week, so I'm just playing this tourney for practice. I've only played round 1, somehow managed to shoot under par. I love firm, fast, and windy conditions, so this place is right up my alley lol. I managed to make a 63ft putt (24" uphill) on hole 17...one of the best shots I've ever had on this game

Yikes. Is there any way to set the wind that high for practice? Seems like the most I ever get just playing is 14-16.

Shot better than I thought I would. My practice of punch shots out of the rough came in handy right away on #1. Hit the water on #4 then hit the next one from the same spot to 5 feet to save bogey. Threw in a couple of birdies here and there, but making par on a few holes on the back 9 felt like I made a birdie.
