Hey guys,
I just created another course called Hillcrest Golf & CC. It plays easy to medium and might be a good course for the CC down the road.
I created Mistwood Golf Course and it play very similar. High winds might be a challenge but it is a short course (6400 yds) so birdie chances will still be there.
Hopefully we can keep getting a good balance of submitted courses for each league.

I've only been playing the game for 3 weeks now. A buddy turned me on to this site and I quickly went through Q School to get on a tour. The courses have felt very difficult for me in the 2 tournaments I played (31 & 32). Wind seems to be the biggest factor. If it gets up to 15-18mph I have a real hard time estimating what my ball will do. If the tournaments can be set with less wind I know I'd have a little more confidence.
The other factors are more issues with the game. It's my opinion, but I feel like the game punishes you way too much for not hitting the fairway. A 200 yard shot to the green out of a trap or heavy rough is not much of a reality. At least that has been my experience. So the wind compounds that for me if I misjudge and don't hit the fairway.
Overall, I like the challenge and feel like I'll learn how to play in the conditions better as time goes on. As a CC-A tour member, I thought the tournaments would be a little bit easier than my experience so far though.
All that said, I appreciate the work you guys do to set all this up. Impossible job to make everyone happy. Gathering opinions through a post like this shows a lot about how much you care. So thank you!

Looking forward to making a trek around Hillcrest Golf and CC.

Semi rough i don't find too bad but trying to get out of the heavy rough from a distance is a problem. Not sure the devs could get this any better. One of the first things a mate said to me was keep it on the short stuff. It certainly helps. I will most of the time just get it back into play as close as i can avoiding any more hazards and make a bogey at worst. If i try a heroic shot at a green i will often end up making bogey.
I have over the last 2 weeks been playing around with the shot modifier. The harsh winds can be neutralised but by doing this you can lose or gain distance. I'm just practising in different spots to see how the wind affects the ball and trying to use the modifier more and more.

I thought I would crunch some numbers. Thousand islands and PGA same week comparison.
Birds- Pars- Bogies- Other- Putts- fwys- greens 1821- 3460- 690- 106- 1.6116117647- 89.50%- 75.57% 1592- 3324- 866- 145- 1.7058313253- 85.11%- 72.56%
Guess which 1 is PGA and which 1 is CCA
Bottom line, I think these guys do a perfect job of selecting the tour courses, it is clear in the stats that all tours are needing to scramble for score at not a significant deviation from each other.
However the stats are showing a need to separate ccd-z from a-c to try and bring them in line with the enjoyment of the other tours.
ccd
2030 5644 2717 841 1.8686624204 78.48% 62.29%
ccz 167 569 434 251 2.04725 69.05% 51.80%

Good number crunching there. Any chance of comparing all cc circuits together? I was playing on the web event that week but also played this with my mate from CC-A. We really enjoyed Thousand Islands, was perfectly fair and a brilliant course. I do believe the speed of greens were too fast for CC though. Would have made a brilliant Web event. Greens could have been slower to hold the CC event though. In fact, anyway of comparing CCs numbers with Charthurst Manor of Web? Charthurst was easier course for sure and still a great web worthy course. Can't remember the wind difference though.
