I like this course but to me the greens are too tricked out on the speed/slope side. When I hit a putt with good speed and it catches the hole it should not end up 15 feet away. In my first two rounds I had more lip outs then I can remember that left me with longer putts on the way back. Like Tony said the wind didnt get to me, it was the greens. The course is beautiful, I love the layout, but the greens make this course very difficult for me. Not sure how the leaders are -20 under!! They are indeed putting gods! This is me too, I can live with the wind in the teens, but the ice rink greens - killing me.

Can't remember which hole, but hit green, rolled through green, had a 10 yard chip back up to the hole, but then sloped back away from the hole. Hit a chip that should have finished around 9-10 yards, it did, then kept rolling and rolling and rolling and finished off the green. At this point in the round i was -2 in the second round and ended up bogeying the hole. 18 similar shot, same results.

The 18th green is too gnarly for my taste!

Not a big fan of this course after three rounds so far. The speed and slope of the greens seems so unnatural.
I feel like I've played pretty well but I've had 30+ putts each round. At least one four-putt each round.. I am hopeless on the downhill ones!
Had it to -6 after 12 in round three but had two bogies coming in. Somehow I think I'll be in contention for the most birdies of the week and still get a demotion strike.

The 18th green is too gnarly for my taste! Just chip it in and get an Eagle like I did, hah. I still ended the first round even (72) with 34 putts, that ain't gonna cut it.

It's over for me thankfully. I shot a -1 on day 4 last night to bring me back even for the tournament. Congrats to all those who were able to master the greens. Next week sounds difficult as well so I'm going to have to buckle down to fight off strike 2.

The 18th green is too gnarly for my taste! I could never figure that one out. I had an easy birdie putt almost every round and missed. It just breaks so hard right before the cup.

Yeah the 18th was brutal. Especially if ya get caught above the hole, which always seemed to happen to me! Ya chip that downhill on the 18th??

I'm new here, finished up a humbling Q-school followed by this first tournament last night. I don't normally play with the 'rivals' on because I find it distracting, but I turned them on for my first round just to watch how others played. I concluded that I just stink and turned it off for the other rounds because I found myself yelling at virtual dudes (..."Screw you jpmarks210985 - that chip in was NOT deserved!...") I can't putt to save my life. Everything scoots by the hole and goes 4-5 feet past. I finished up 69, 75, 73, 64 for a -7. I think mostly it is mental now. Watch out for me next week. I'm going -8 for sure!

I won the WD lottery for the second time in three weeks and avoided a strike. I never thought even par for the tournament would have made it. Glad this one is behind me and I'll never play this course again.
