Be forewarned...the greens are like putting on a tile floor. Lightning fast and it's rare to get a straight one. The CC conspiracy continues

Oh yummy, I cannot wait. But the course is one that they want the Rangers testing so I can kill 2 birds with one play?

This is one tough course. Going to be brutal in the high wind rounds.

Struggled to -2 in winds that barely got over 5. This one's tough. Apparently the one after that is tough as well. We seem to go in streaks of 3-4 hard ones after 2-3 easy ones...

I've played through 3 times and averaged about a -1 or even par. I think this one will have a worse global scoring average than Loa Pali.

And I can see why they call it the Challenge Circuit now as a challenge it most certainly is. Just managed a -6 in practice but that was helped by a 50+ foot putt on hole 2 for eagle and a 70+ yard pitch on hole 11 for eagle. I'd take four rounds of -6 right now as there isn't a cat in hells chance I'll do that in the tournament.
Greens are very deceiving as adding or deducting a yard to your approach can be the difference between the ball going 10 yards past the pin or it rolling back down the green by the same amount.
A very tough course indeed.

If we are in fact using the (Tour) course.. Yikes.
The greens are like putting on an ice rink. I couldn't believe how many 10 foot putts I accidentally ran 12 feet past the hole.
That's going to be the challenge here. Getting the green speeds dialed in.

For practice I just chose the course that was written exactly as it is on the main website (Thousand Islands Golf and CC). Please do not tell me that was the ultra easy version

Just a tip for playing this course. Do not allow any hole to cause you to rage finish. Yes there are a few tough holes, however there are eagles and birdies a plenty out there. Patience will be rewarded handsomely.
I hope you enjoy your week here at the Thousand Islands Golf and CC (tour).
If you happen to like the course, it could use a few more likes on the course listing page, and even a review would not hurt. For ease here is the link Course listing page .
Thank you so much.

Not to mention the 17mph wind. Why does every tour have to have winds that aren't typical of normal golf. Maybe one day out of four has high winds but I'm tired of the artificial difficulty.

It's a beautiful looking course, however there are a few pins that are on a steep incline which makes it unnecessarily difficult to putt. Some holes you could actually see the hole protruding out of the green because it was placed on a very steep slope.
