Dave, with all due respect, please play some of the top courses by our top designers. Compare your work to theirs. What I mean by this, not the course layout, but the all of the other efforts: sculpting in and around the holes, sculpting beyond the holes, texture usage and quality, bunkering from shapes to sculpting to placement, overall playability, tee to green look, look at all of it and take it in. I ask you this, because if you strive to be at least half that good, you will never have to worry about getting approved, ever, because it will be a lock guaranteed for you to be approved. When people say "autogen", they basically mean many aspects of a particular design are either straight autogens or look very close to autogen quality. Do these things to avoid autogen looking courses: set green size slider to smallest set fairway width slider to none set bunker hazards slider to none (both greenside and fairway) set light rough slider to none set heavy rough slider to none set tee size slider to none (this has to be done for each hole) after you do all that, plan out your course with the "distance marker" by drawing it, then filling it, or just go 1 hole at a time. pay special attention to these things: sculpting - everywhere, not just the holes texture blending "can it be mowed?" theory playability fairness on both the drive and the approach shots bunkers and bunker placements reoccurring designs (IE: same bunkers at same locations on holes, green shapes the same on many holes, etc) limit the use of all single shape textures as much as possible, mix them up and combine them for truly unique shapes. with the exception of round and oval bunkers

Polaris Falls Golf Club - Not Approved
The course is not bad, but if lacks the needed amount of attention. Bunkers laying over the fairway without any further sculpting, way too simplistic greens (number 3, for example)

Tennison Glen - Dallas
Many Autogenerated elements including:
- Blind Tee Shots with small hills in front of Tee Box. - Inconsistent Fairways/Rough/Deep Rough - Sudden and unrealistic elevation changes.
If you have any questions please message me and I will be happy to help.

Sylvan Bayou
Many Autogenerated elements including,
- Inconsistent fairway/rough/deep rough bands - Bunkers are inconsistent, and cut oddly into different cuts. - Bunkers are not shaped. - Odd fairway drop offs near rough edges.

Nauvoo G.C
While there has been work clearly put into this course, there are still many autogenerated elements to it.
-Odd Mounds that pop up everywhere -Large Randomized greens -Fairway Bunkers are placed incorrectly.
Some more work needs to be done on the course, although it is being close to being accepted into the design database in my opinion, which is always a good (first) step.

The Lost Links of Los Alamos
Unfortunately, this course has many elements of an autogenerated course including:
- Inconsistent bands of fairway/rough/deep rough. - Bunkers cutting into multiple bands of rough/fairway - Non sculpted bunkers - Oddly shaped, randomized greens.

Minto Mugler Golf & Holiday Resort
The course itself is fine enough and avoids many of the autogenerated elements that usually gets a course denied. However, there are a few instances where the hole routing has the approach shot playing directly into trees, preventing a reasonable opportunity at GIR. Please remove these trees and resubmit.

Use the distance markers to plot out how you would like your holes to look ie a right dogleg around 90 degrees with trees around on one hole then an interesting par 3, never use the same hole shape more than once and keep thinking ahead and mixing it up to keep the players happy and looking forward to see what you have in store for them next. Always think ahead for the tee shot, can i reach the fairway if I'm hitting into a strong wind, as the game can throw that at you easily, ie setting up a 260 drive over water but with a strong wind into you, there's no place to drive so it would be an instant fail.

Gatlinburg G.C. - Not Approved The course does not meet the minimun quality criteria to be approved in the database: Bunkers placed carelessly and without good sculpting: Also the surfaces of the course don't flow well together:
