It's definitely a litte rough. There's not any one particular thing I could point at to fix, because it's a little off in all the major areas. Technical polish isn't there, and the concepts of the holes I made it through range from borderline to baffling. Ben's got a great video that goes into a little more depth than I can here, and there's a lot of great tutorials out there for the tools and for general design concepts. I’m sorry you feel that way, I was hoping for a little more specifics, I will see if the clockwise version works a little better but most likely it seems they’re destined for for the black hole of PGA2k21 course catalog. Hi mattspy05, I am not a reviewer so please take what I say with a rather large grain of salt. That said, I booted up your course to check it out. A few notes off the bat: - Two out of your first three holes have, what look like unintentional, bling tee shots, including a long par 3 This one requires you to hit over a house, and I imagine that owner is probably pretty upset about the broken windows. Here's another hole where you can definitely slice into some poor sap's living room. Blind shots can be fun, but only used judiciously. Outside of North Berwick, a blind 200+ yard par three is a no no. Here on the second, you can see a few recurring issues. -The bunkers cut across fairways, rough, and green (again this can be done well, see South Yarra, but has to be done with a really delicate touch -The bunker sculpting is a bit wonky, they are like canted bathtubs -The transitions in the greens are not done elegantly -The next tee is oddly shaped, in the middle of a town, and the sculpting on the mound is not natural. Here on the second, the transitions are also off and the mound on the front of the green is super harsh. The stock shaped bunker planted in the fairway is not integrated into the course. Some of your planting looks nice, but often creeps into the fairways and light rough. I would also avoid the noon-ish lighting and the high attitude, as those are washing the course out a bit. I hope this help! Again, I am not a reviewer, but have played a lot of these. For a really good take on a highland course, check out the highlander. It would be really edifying for your next project!

If it helps you can post a beta published version at www.reddit.com/r/PGA2KBuildersUnion/ and ask to have your course reviewed. This way you can get some feedback before submitting for TGC approval. Just a thought…

IsLee's Isle Way C.C. - not approved This one was closer than the other courses I've looked at so far tonight, but it's still pretty rough around the edges. Sculpting is rough, and the first few holes play pretty wonky. Giant tree a foot off the first green isn't helping anything.

Mauawi Beach Golf Resort - not approved Was stuck on the fence about this one for a while, and I think it just dips below into the not approved category due to the handful of random objects in the line of play. Some sculpting and playability issues sprinkled in as well.

St. Claire de Bellevue - Not Approved
Needs some clean up work... sculpting, playing surfaces, trees all need some work to move it into the approve category.

High Palms - Not Approved
Sorry if this isnt the case but this course was indistinguishable from an auto-generated one. Planting was also auto-generated and sometimes crept into the fairway. sculpting and surfacing issues throughout

Glascairn Meadows gc - Not Approved
While this is better than your last effort, it still suffers from a lot of the same faults. Take care in your sculpting and make sure your surfaces line up well. Also pay attention to unintentional blindness.
