TGC Players' Club at the San Antonio Riverwalk - Not Approved
By no means this is a bad course, but it features a few elements that should be improved to have a spot in the database:
In my eyes, there are quite a few autogenerated elements. Some areas of the fairways are laid straigth on the base terrain, the first cut of rough is unconsistent, it appears and disappears at certain places. The bunkers lack any kind of sculpting, and the terrain surfaces blend in stranges ways.
All in all the course is not bad, the designer has spent time on it, but sometimes you just need to pay attention to some details. And in this course, that attention is missing

Puget Sound Champions Course - Not approved.
Very close to being an approved course, but a few things need to be fixed/touched up. 1. Bushes/Plants/Grass too large, and placed way too close to the greens. In my 9 holes, 3 times on the green/fringe I couldn't see my putt due to background planting. Planting also a bit strangely random (just a large grass out by itself for no reason). 2. Fairway/rough/deep rough transitions- Every hole had an issue or two. Not glaring, but obvious and not clean looking 3. Blind drives. 4-5 of the drives on the first 9 were blind (over hills). Open up the shot and sight lanes. 4. Pin placement in yellow slope on 6.
Best part was the bunkering and smoothing...you can tell these techniques were good enough for a great course. Keep at it or fix these things and an approved course for sure.
A little time on the above issues and

Coharie Pines Golf Club - Not Approved
I was looking forward to this course as I really like the work of the designer but unfortunately this was not his best work.
List of issues: Bunker sculpting just looked unnatural Bunkers dissecting 2-3 cuts of grass on every hole just didnt look nice Alot of greens seemed to just throw your ball of the back over front - back slope Mulch just sporadically put down in areas Also the mulch had natural grass around it which gives a bad looking transition. the walkways from hole to hole were well unwalkable and really stuck out.
Just in general the course seemed messy and rushed.
We all have a bad course or 2. Just dust this one off and go again.

Baber Autumn Hills Golf Club - Not Approved
The designer has thrown some hourse in this one, but sometimes you need something more than just taking your time for the work in a course. The bunkers are placed carelessly, overlapping and shaping all kind of strange changes in the layout of the course. Some of the bunker have unnatural sulpting. That's my main concern with the course, but it detracts quiet a good amount of good vibe to the playability

Glenloig GC - Not Approved
Despite the course shows some efforts to hide it, there are lot of flaws that you will find in autogenerated courses. The bunkers, both in shape and in placement are not proper, some shapes blend in strange ways.
On the positive side, the designer has made a good effort of bringing together a good amount of setups, but there are a few mistakes that with the proper help (there are a few good tutorials here in the forum, study them) and with more work on the designer, can be easily solved

Georgia National Park - Not Approved
Well, this one is going to be tough....
The concept itself is not bad. It's not a revolution in golf courses design, but it's ok. The problem is the execution. The terrain lacks all kind of smoothing, the bunkers are placed carelessly lying over any kind of terrain. Some of the surfaces are blended in strange ways... All in all, the designer has some interesting ideas, but he needs to know a bit better the tools given in the GNCD, for what I suggest you study the vids provided by the community, they will be very useful to you.
And this is only a personal opinion, but.... A whale in an small pond in Georgia? I'm not a naturalist, and could be wrong, but that sounds weird to me

Purple Ridge Tour Edition - Not Approved
The designer has some good ideas, I like the light in the course, but there are a few areas that need more in depth work
Layout of the terrain:
The terrain surfaces are placed carelessly, the surfaces cross and meet in weird ways, mainly the greens and fairways.
The bunkers dissect two or more types of terrain. It's been said a lot of times, it's not mandatory to have the bunkers surrounded by just one type of texture, but the look of them is much better that way
Terrain work:
Also big attention is needed here, the bunkers are hardly sculpted. Some of the tee shots are blocked by mounds in front of them (look at 6th tee, for instance)

NASA Federal GC - Beta - Not Approved
I can't call this one a bad golf course. But I can't call it a good enough course to be inducted in the Database.
The layout is interesting, but the technical parts of the design are inconsistent. The bunkers are placed carelessly over various cuts of rough and without special attention paid to the sculpting. The greens are too small, considering they all are bowl shaped. The terrain work is sparce, and in a few holes the slopes in the fairways make them almost imposible to hold.
The planting is not appealing at all, and the course looks way too simple in the visual aspects

Vireta Paradiso Patriam Clava A - Not Approved
This was not a bad course at all, and I was very close to approving, but there's just some things that I can't approve: -Hole 4: Planting on tee box -Several holes had fairway/green placed on base terrain. Examples: 4th tee, 5th fairway, 8th fairway, 16th fairway, and a few other spots -Bridge severely blocks line of sight on 12 -Bridge to the back right of 16 does not align right -Many bunkers lack any sculpting at all -Many bunkers are simply too big
If the designer is reading this, I encourage you to keep designing, because this course really just needed some more attention to things like what I listed. If it had that attention put in to spots like that, I would've approved it.
