Question...what we have heard thus far is because of the vast universe, (18 quadrillion planets) the game is really about discovery and exploration and the likelihood you'll see another play is also most nil. How then can there be space battles with concentrations of ships and in one place??? Are these all AI? Yep. Each solar system contains a space station and these attract AI traders and space pirates and whatever other types of ships there are. |

So Sean Murray has tweeted that they didn't use the superformula or infringe on any patents, so that whole claim is a non-issue. He said him and superformula guy are going to get together and discuss maths after the game launches. In other words this pretty much takes away any chance that the launch would have been delayed.

Two weeks to go. I'm hoping this thread continues long after that with everyone posting videos/screenshots of their more cool discoveries. Most games I get bored quickly with watching other people play but I think this one will be different.
