66 & 69 in Rounds 3/4, for a -12 total. Guess some have been wind waiting cos theres some low scores around I'd be scared if ppl could shoot low in strong wind! I was relatively pleased with 71 on my rnd 4 in high winds

terrible course IMO...and desert courses are my favorite.... not in the history of golf has there EVER been out of bounds directly between the tee and the green that separates fairways. And the 95% GLITCH is still hanging it's head over every swing...I know TGC are not the dev's...and it's not their fault AT ALL... The reason for out of bounds is simply put in the game to stop the situation where you get stuck in the ravine and can't get out.

I don't get that OB tho as you can just deem your ball unplayable.

That's a good point Luke. I was going to say it was designed before that was an option but then OB came in the same time I think. One for Dr.Yeti to answer

Going to be tough this One, one little mistake and your going to struggle to make par
Hoodoo tradition emphasizes personal magical power invoked by the use of certain tools ( GNCD Tools ) , spells, formulas, methods, and techniques He calls himself Dr Yeti - The Dr conjured up witchcraft ,rootwork, candle burning, and tricking from The Book of GNCD Designs to cast a spell on his victims who happen to stray into the valley of lost Souls .
Round 1 What an Introduction to Hoodoo hills, med/strong winds , its tough out there and med/fast greens - Score -6 Round 2 In the rain with med winds and difficult pins, looking at the pins with a down hill shot , its very intimidating- Score -2 Round 3 Looks like med winds again up to 11mph finished -7 Round 4 Few days later tee,d up didnt what the wind was going to be, was ready for strong winds but got low, in the end -7
lucky he misplaced that Voodoo doll and i got out there before he returned with it and his bag of tricks,
So far most of the courses on tour have been mild, but his one was wild and a great test mentally, to tough it out and hang in there I had to keep my head down and look at the stick on every dam shot as i couldnt afford to hit one astray
Thank you Dr for the Medicine - I feel better now

Yeah in fact Gav who I was playing live with actually ended up deeming a ball unplayable when stuck behind a rock in the rough. Can't remember if that was a practice round or the actual tourney, but yeah the option is there so need need for the OB. Same with next weeks course, there's some rocks over in the sea which have been covered with OB. No need for it, just let the player either try to shoot from there or deem it unplayable. Although I suppose the rocks are OB because you're not gonna swim there to take your shot haha. So thats a very poor example, whoops.

Is that the Gav that hit water on 5 and managed to escape OB and get a drop? He hit the only tiny portion of water that wasn't covered in OB!

I am going to have to admit that this course has defeated me. Another one over par round means strike number two on the way. It was my putting that left me down this round. I just could not get it together enough. I really enjoyed the challenge but came up short. On a positive side, having two strikes makes the next event even more exciting. I am looking forward to that. I am sure I will get demoted at some stage this season, I am just not consistent enough and when it happens, I will be happy with a new challange. But for now, one round to go, and my latest challange is to finish the event par or better. No wall of text report this time, lunch is waiting. Have fun all.

Once the wind fix is in. Then everyone is playing the same course. Voodoo hills is one where no wind vs wind is a huge difference and is noted by the leader board. Bring on next week!

So excited for this! Bring on 15+ winds! I'm happy with -6 through two - stayed out of big trouble. The firm fairway/soft green combo in round 2 feels weird and led to my only three putt as I ended up on the wrong level with a crazy fast downhill putt. Likely won't be in the top 10 but hoping for top 30 to get rid of that X.

HB tweeted out today that the wind fix will go live on Friday for all platforms. The tropical course should bring in some nice high winds.

Made big numbers in my practice round on this one, but managed to mostly avoid trouble during my tournament rounds. I couldn't really get it going on the first and fourth rounds, posting 71s in both, but managed to find a groove in the second and third rounds posting 63 and 61 respectively. -22 overall is as good as I was realistically hoping for, but I wish I could have done better in the fourth as I was on a nice roll heading into it.
Last week I missed wiping away my two strikes by one stroke. Not sure if -22 will hold up for top 30, but we'll see.

I'd like to see the option to put in a non-water hazard, where you still get a penalty but can get a drop similar to how you get for going into the water. OB is pretty harsh especially for some of those waste areas between fairway sections, though I'm OK with it for shots that miss way left or way right.
As for this tournament, I really need to stop playing after being at the bar. Shot 64 in Round 3, but stumbled to 72 in the final round.

Unplayable lie is already in the game Colin. Not used it personally but I think it works like the water hazard where you drop it close and take a shot penalty.
