Well it looks like I'll finally have my first missed cut this week!! Shot 63 for -8 on the first round with winds up to 9-10mph...second round winds decided to jump to 17-18mph, shot 72 for +1 leaving me at -7 overall so far. Will really be surprised if I make the cut so I'll wait and see what happens. Course isn't too bad but those winds and the direction they were blowing made it nearly impossible to play!!! No way you'll be missing the cut on -7. 72 is a solid round with those winds. It's difficult to tell what the cut is this week. We can guess from people on here, but a lot of people don't even come on the forums. I went 63, 73, 66, 66 for my four rounds. Playing on exemption, no idea if that's going to keep me here, as not sure how many stay up on exemption if they make the cut. I'll expect to make the cut from what I've seen here, and I'll be on -6. |

First time playing the course, doubled the first 2 holes but came back to shoot 71. Not a fan of the lighting, made shorter putts a little more difficult, but we all played that so no biggie. My biggest issue was that it was super laggy for some reason. I would go to hit a short putt and it would freeze and then next thing i know I'm hitting edges. I think could be a very good course under different lighting.

I found this course very laggy. It was a fun course, and I would have enjoyed it but for the lag costing me too many shots. I salvaged a -1 first round by chipping in on 18, but sort of gave up second round when the wheels started to fall off.

Wow was round 2 tough. I was expecting it to be tough and thought I was half decent in high winds but I was teeing off like an idiot, hooking and slicing everything so always on the back foot. +4 thru 5. Managed to get back to +1 before bogeying the last to end up +2. -8 after 2 rounds. Enjoyed the challenge in the high winds but I kept second guessing myself after the early holes and my putting was woeful as I missed about 3 or 4 putts that I was sinking in round 1. My lag putting however was quite sound and I chipped in with a 9 iron on one hole so not all bad. Should make the cut looking at the scores but going to need 2 great rounds to earn my web-a card.

I shot a 65 and a 71 to be 6-under after 2 rounds. Lag caused me to over-hit a 2 foot putt for birdie on one of the holes in round 2. (hit the back of the cup and bounced straight up and out). That was frustrating to say the least. I will not be a happy camper if that is the difference between me making and missing the cut.

I actually just had a look at the leaderboard there....really thought I would have been a lot further down but currently t20!! Guess I was wrong so. This the first tourney where I finished a round over par, probably the reason I thought I'd miss the cut. Struggled to keep it at +1 to be honest. |

The new wind is certainly giving us some more realistic scores. The people who wind waited will especially be struggling. It's much harder to get your approach shots close and the more loft you add the more difficult it gets.

If anything, I struggled to hit good shots in round 4 which had the calmest conditions. Missed a 2 footer on the 72nd hole to finish -21. That was a real ass chafer. In fact I think I bogied that sonab%& all four rounds. It's a great golf hole
I am shocked at how high the scores are in the wind. Honestly, I didn't think it would be a big deal, but Ill be damned, I was wrong. This makes me much more excited to play the game.
As for the course, I thought it was beautiful. A great mix of holes. In calm conditions, he difference between -12 and a -3 is not much which to me is a sign of a well designed track. Obviously I didn't have the same issues others have had with the lag. Although I feel their pain as a few courses do that to me as well.

Amen cdog. A terrific course. Hole 18 is a super finishing hole. I birdied it first round with a chip in from the back of the green, bogied it 2nd round in high winds failing to get up and down. Third round i hit a standard par and last round I hit a corking approach which still left me a testing left to right putt from just under 10 feet if I recall, it burnt the edge, I thought it was gonna drop. Altogether even par for that hole which I'm happy with.

for me on the ps4, it was really laggy on the back nine starting at 11 and pretty much every hole from then on out. I had 2 putts on back to back rounds on 11 that were under 4 feet do the pop and stop because of the frame rate and one the last par three had a big putt that I knocked off the green because the stupid putting indicator only shows a number with no hit to up or down. And from where I was it was tough to see the ups and downs on that green.
Over all a great course!

I don't know what it was but my putting was just horrific this week. I was either lipping out or leaving it 7+ yards past the hole. Just straight up disappointing. Finished with a final score of 11-under. I've gotta work on my game a lot the next few days if I want to play somewhat decent in the US Open.

Lit it up in the first round but the winds punished me in round 2 & 3, seems to be order of the day though. Massively cocked it up in general and by the 4th round I had kinda lost interest meaning that I'll finish a bit further down the leaderboard than I probably could have been with a bit more effort.
The leading Xbox scores were a joke, no idea how they shot so well in the wind. Someone obviously shouldn't be in Web A
