This week should be voided, who picks the courses for WEB.com tour. I have NEVER seen anything close to these courses on the PGA Tour. Too dark, lag, didn't put the right version of it so i had to play through the course at night. The tour started off great with GREAT courses, but the PAST 3-4 have been unplayable and unrealistic. Hopefully i can get off this tour soon so i don't have to deal with the throw away courses. Just to let you all know, stuff like this is NOT helpful. Many people choose to ignore the feedback threads, and do not contribute when given the chance to influence the future of the tour. Each week, though, someone who DID NOT contribute will complain about the course that was chosen. I don't know what else I can do. Stuff like this makes the effort put in not worth it at all. It takes a lot of work to do this, but only takes 2 seconds to complain without offering anything constructive. I understand the issue with the lighting, and I apologize for not being more diligent to make sure the tournament creators knew of the change. If you would check the feedback threads BEFORE commenting, however, you would see that I test every course for playability and lag, and I never select a course where I experience lag. Everyone experiences the game differently, however, even on console, so I have no way to predict who will experience lag and who won't. Again, I don't know what else I can do. Here is what I WILL do, however. I will continue to post the feedback thread, I will continue to seek the opinions of those who are interested in contributing and not complaining, and I will continue to play as many courses as possible to find the best courses, the best variety, and the best level of difficulty for the tour.

The lighting issue seems to be overly exaggerated by some. Yes it is dark, and I prefer the lighter version more, but it isn't that hard to see. I have a harder time on the bright courses with shadows on the green covering the hole.
The green speeds and winds gave me more trouble, but that is my issue and not the course selection.
I was +7 after two rounds and managed to finish at -4 or -5 after 4 rounds so I was happy with being able to rebound even though I will miss the cut due to the poor start.

As I posted in the course thread, I didn't have issues with the lighting. Twilight situation, no big deal. But in the many practice rounds I played, I never had wind higher than 8 mph. It was a steady 9 in round one and I should've played better than even par. Most of that was on me. Second-round winds of 16-18 mph and I was toast. I haven't played any rounds on any course with wind higher than 14. I wasn't really sure how to play it and scrambled to a 2-over 73. I'm imagining that won't get me anywhere near the cut?
I like this course a lot, but I don't know how to play in severe wind.

In sever wind throw the yardage book out of the window and play on pure feel and aim for the middles of the greens you might get a lucky break, that's what I do when the winds high.

Different strokes, different folks. I love this course, between this and Oakmere for my favourite so far. I don't like next weeks at Bunyip. Doesn't mean I'm going to be demanding for it to be voided though haha what the hell? The guy that picks the courses has been doing a great job and always asks for feedback where people have the chance to speak up. Hardly anyone does though so you can't blame him. In fact, he took feedback about the darkness and got it changed to a lighter course (I prefer the darker version myself, nice evening sunset) but an admin error made it as the original course. I've never seen so much outrage over lighting. Didn't the champs tour play at field club the other week? That has the same lighting. I'm sure people didn't lose their marbles over that. Ah well, keep calm and carry on.... it isn't the lighting, it's the unbearable lag...

The lag on the course this week was not fun. Also, I am beat up and beat down from playing in the high winds. I don't think I have played in winds less than 7-10 mph in 7 events I have played. It's just not fun playing that every week.
I know we have the wind fix now, but this week's track of playing par 4's and hitting 3 wood into hole locations not meant for that is just not fun. Seriously thinking if I want to keep playing.

7-10mph is average wind. No biggie there. Also, wasn't round 4 in calm 5mph conditions? So you have played in less than 7mph. Shame people have had lag on this course as its a beauty.

Well two 72s from me so I won't be making the cut again! They were very different 72s. I had an awful 1st round. I'd just done a practice and got 64 so was shocked how badly I did on the real thing. Everything was poor. I did lose a shot to the putting glitch but that's no excuse. With the second round's high winds it was always going to be a battle. I played much better in the difficult conditions and would of had an even par round if it wasn't for a fluffed flop shot on the 18th. I did my usual trick when putting, just missing 7 or 8 either an inch shot or an inch wide.
It's not been a good week for me. I found out last night I'd been given a DQ on the previous tournament for not submitting scores even though I did. I was on the leaderboard in around 80th place until scores were finalised. I've been in touch with the admins and hopefully they can sort it. I need any WGR points I can get at the moment!
I found the course fairly easy when winds were light. It was slightly dark but I just increased brightness on the TV slightly. I did have some frame rate issues when swinging, it just didn't seem as smooth. I've not played much since the patch so need to find out what it's like on other courses. Overall I liked the course.

69,72,70,61 unfortunately I wont be making the cut with those first two rounds. 11 birdies in the final round spoiled by a bogey at the last.

Well it looks like I'll finally have my first missed cut this week!! Shot 63 for -8 on the first round with winds up to 9-10mph...second round winds decided to jump to 17-18mph, shot 72 for +1 leaving me at -7 overall so far. Will really be surprised if I make the cut so I'll wait and see what happens. Course isn't too bad but those winds and the direction they were blowing made it nearly impossible to play!!!

No way you'll be missing the cut on -7. 72 is a solid round with those winds.

This week is my first tournament. Shot an awful 66 in the first round followed by 72 in the second for -5. Hopefully I can make the cut on my first event, but I missed 5 putts that I should have holed in the first round so my hopes aren't too high.
