Seems a marmite week this week on the web.com tour. I, personally, love this course, feels like a proper golf course. I love the sunset lighting and was happy it was used accidentely instead of the newer lighter version. On exemption from web-b and hit -10 first round. Fingers crossed i'll be able to navigate the winds of 2nd and 3rd round before posting another low score 4th round. Good luck to all.

Shot -17 for the tournament. I'll be lucky to make the cut. Tons of FPS lag with this course. Not a fan.

Looked like you were making everything out there... especially that putt on 18! Great round. Threw down a 65 in round 1. Couldn't capitalize on the easier holes today. Kept leaving myself 20 foot putts instead of the 10 footers from practice rounds. I did however have my first hole-in-one on number 3! Looking forward to playing round 2 tomorrow! |

Thanks. That was a PW chip from the fringe of the green after over hitting the approach on 18. Went all around the hole and dropped in, I was pleasantly surprised.

Well played Luke, with scores of -10 you deserve to be in this flight! I've not played the course yet but I'm off tomorrow. I might not put your ghost on I think it'll just depress me!

Pretty close to the same then. I had exactly 10 mph on every hole for the first round, just started the second and its 18 mph. |

Yep. I had 9-10 first round in W, NW directions. 18mph winds when I started up 2nd round. Yet to play it though.

This week should be voided, who picks the courses for WEB.com tour. I have NEVER seen anything close to these courses on the PGA Tour. Too dark, lag, didn't put the right version of it so i had to play through the course at night. The tour started off great with GREAT courses, but the PAST 3-4 have been unplayable and unrealistic. Hopefully i can get off this tour soon so i don't have to deal with the throw away courses.

Different strokes, different folks. I love this course, between this and Oakmere for my favourite so far. I don't like next weeks at Bunyip. Doesn't mean I'm going to be demanding for it to be voided though haha what the hell?
The guy that picks the courses has been doing a great job and always asks for feedback where people have the chance to speak up. Hardly anyone does though so you can't blame him. In fact, he took feedback about the darkness and got it changed to a lighter course (I prefer the darker version myself, nice evening sunset) but an admin error made it as the original course.
I've never seen so much outrage over lighting. Didn't the champs tour play at field club the other week? That has the same lighting. I'm sure people didn't lose their marbles over that. Ah well, keep calm and carry on....

Yikes. Just played rounds 2/3 in the 18 mph winds and holy sh%$ I have no idea how to play with that much wind. 65-74-71 is not looking good.
