A lot of my problem is the latest update. The December update has had a devastating effect on players. Green and chip speed have doubled. Full power swings have a greater chance of coming up short. Perfect swing window has been cut in half. Everyone's calibration was reset. Scores in CC have gone the wrong direction by an average of 13 strokes in all CC flights since the update. And Platinum players are trolling me saying they have not noticed these changes? I'm 99% sure it's not because of a swing update...there's been no noticeable change in how the game plays for me. I know there was an update on Steam that was affecting PC players' controller settings, but that was not a 2K23 game update. The scores on CC are higher recently because courses used on tour have more been difficult than usual. One course used was built for the Plat Major contest, and one required a bit more thought and precision during play to score well with challenging greens and pin locations. |

There has been a huge noticiable change in how the game plays for me. I'm having to completely rework my swing to get good shots again right now. The ball comes off my putter face 2x the speed that it did in November with the same swing for example. Ive seen this in other people I am playing in ranked and skins also. Maybe that bad update did get into Xbox also.

People also don't get that I physically can't use a finished swing. I don't have the range of motion and I can show you. you don't have to just use the thumb to swing. IF you're limited in motion - use the chess piece method thumb and index finger, then just pull back and push forward as straight as possible. Controller also makes a difference as you have been told many times before. The stock XB controller has only like 4 polling points and is very bad for this game = random VF or VS.. embrace the Wolverine Razer as it has changed the game for many XB players including myself. I went from CC-K range up to CC-A in about 6 weeks.. |
