Kinda sounds like you are cheesing it, and not playing the spirit of the game. I play this way because I date back to the first TGC games 10 years ago where tempo did not exist. Ive never really gotten used to using tempo. Go to Difficulty options and turn off swing timing then 2K23 is basically the same swing method as The Golf Club, the game you are talking about. Nobody is forcing you to play a certain way, want a bit of online competition why not start up a society with your preferred settings also or maybe search for societies that don't use swing timing. Some people just don't get on with the timing mechanic in the the game and that's nothing to be ashamed of. I think you will enjoy the game much more without it. |

I turned it off and set the swing to legend setting and for the first time in a long time i enjoyed a round, many thanks for this suggestion. With my Old controller it really works out well how i play and how i score it will not be for everybody but i enjoyed it.Just got to find some new and old courses to play with it now its been too long.

I can take the exact same swing and get a hard slow or a perfect swing. There is no consistency. The game can decide to read or not read the same swing. The problem is with the server side of the game. You dont play this game with your body, you play it with the controller. You use the controller to fool the game into thinking your swing has no tempo. Once the swing reaches the middle, it is flicked forward and no longer touched.
I'm getting demoted this week and was shooting -27 every tournament in November. I changed nothing about my swing. I'm getting rounds like starting at -2, getting to -8 and then ending -4 in the same round

People don't realize there is no such thing as good or bad players in this game. There are obeyed players and disobeyed players. Someone like Subtlebees is an obeyed player who is constantly given a good swing by the computer. I am inconsistently given obeyment by the game.
I am also under the impression that obeyed players don't stay that way. For example at any time Kara Santos could lose their swing obeyment and drop down to be a CC-H player.

People don't realize there is no such thing as good or bad players in this game. There are obeyed players and disobeyed players. Someone like Subtlebees is an obeyed player who is constantly given a good swing by the computer. I am inconsistently given obeyment by the game. I am also under the impression that obeyed players don't stay that way. For example at any time Kara Santos could lose their swing obeyment and drop down to be a CC-H player. Is the obeyed player DLC? |

If a player is obeyed or not is randomly decided by the computer. The server controls if you are good at this game or not.

People also don't get that I physically can't use a finished swing. I don't have the range of motion and I can show you.

I had the Razer controller once and I sent it back because I ended up with 120 power shots with no direction control. The Xbox Elite controller worked but wears out too fast.

A lot of my problem is the latest update. The December update has had a devastating effect on players. Green and chip speed have doubled. Full power swings have a greater chance of coming up short. Perfect swing window has been cut in half. Everyone's calibration was reset. Putts hitting the hole edge and going in have been cut in half. Scores in CC have gone the wrong direction by an average of 13 strokes in all flights since the update. Platinum players are trolling me saying they have not noticed these changes?
