I have John Wick 4 on UHD 4K Blu Ray Great movie, looks fantastic also, one of the best HDR movies imo hi guys, any suggestion how to play better on greens. When I dont see elevation. It is so tricky. I can be on the green by second shot, but then......... Couple of easy tips, look at how the cup is sloped compared to the bottom of your monitor for breaks at the hole, also look at the putter head in relation to your feet, is it higher or lower than your feet? Like Craig said, look at the sides of the monitor at the same time for general slopes

Is the toe of the putter pointing up or down relative to the ground. That's usually a good indication of break off the putter face...

Also an underrated tip is to lag every putt and focus on pace, with grids it’s very easy to hole the comeback putts and spot sneaky downslopes behind the hole, without it’s a bit more challenging so treat it like real golf and accept a tap in two putt from 25 putt with the odd one dropping, just avoid having 6ft coming back!

I finished +1 this week to go with my E and +2 in the first two tournaments. Decent consistency and it's nice to still have that target of finishing under par to aim for over the next few weeks. Enjoying it. I need to digest all of these helpful putting tips and then I'm sure I'll get there.

I absolutely love true sim and have been playing it for years and run a couple of society's on xbox and the biggest tip I tell all beginners is to learn your pace , Lagg putting , 2 putt . Learn your 10 ft pace , 20ft , 30 ft etc . It's totally different from grids and that's why I'm not that great at it as I still leave a lot short on grids thinking I'm playing true sim . After a couple of weeks of Lagg putting and stopping them 3 putts and bogeys your birdies will start coming . And watch your roll outs as soon as u hit the green DONT FAST FORWARD . Always aim for par golf .

It is totally true about good pace putting. The thing is those that come over from grids will be hitting putts too hard. Also the softer you hit a putt the more break needed. Downhill sidehill putts need so much more borrow as they break so much with less pace. The hole lean for me is easy to judge and I don't need to put the flag in as it is quite obvious which was is is leaning to me but does help others. I do find you get a better view of the lean from behind the hole. Regarding putter head lean I really gave up on that long ago as the putter I use doesn't give an indication if the ball is above or below my feet. I honestly think if you can get a good pace to your putts you're on the right track. If you are starting to give just a bit too much break that is also a good sign. I would always rather give slightly too much break than not enough as I feel I am getting a better feel for the greens.

Don't you Find it's the putts with very little break which are the toughest to read, Sloping greens you can see it but the ones which break a couple of inches or even straight i have no idea how you work it out, saying that i play in less than 15mins a round so may be part of the problem.
By the way tried out a different controller for the 4th round this week an old cheap market version 2nd hand, shot a higher score but it was not within the tgc tours limits so scored been erased, going to try a ps4 one next week.(if i like the course choice).

It’s not in my nature to be doubt I’ll hole the first putt 🤣 but I always rue it when I miss the one coming back!

That final round push has me in contention for my first win again. Keep knocking at the door. Would love to get it around West Hill 😬

Finished up with rounds of 66 & 72 to end on level par for the week.Considering I was 5 over after 4 holes of 1st round,I’ll take that. Finding putting so much tougher on legend but I suppose because long game is more difficult it leads to much worse hole proximity. Enjoying the challenge 👍

New Haven is near Houston, right? New Haven doesn't ring a bell but I'll check that out tonight 👀 If anyone ever fancies a 'practice round' (using the term loosely) more for a laugh or to get some tips on how to play while actually in game give me a shout. Would actually be really cool to play the tournaments live in a group some week for a bit of a laugh (assuming live society play still works lol)
