Dear TST enthusiasts, This week's YOYO Championship takes place at the same course we played last year's event: West Hill Golf Club (UK). On Master, you all seemed to enjoy this course - a par 69 - a lot, so I'm curious how you like it and get on playing Legend. One thing though... do NOT hit driver on every tee! I'll go first...
Tee to green: wonderfully enjoyable steady start.
On the green: disaster because I keep overhitting my putts; cost me at least half a dozen shots.
Round 1: +3
Round 2: E

My favourite course in the game this. Absolutely incredible job Paddy has done with this and the set up in round one was perfect. Scorable (is that a word lol) if you hit good shots and trouble if you don't.
The greens were much trickier than I remember as well. Will this be the week I only play one round at a time? Maybe...
Nice one again Frans and play well guys.
If anyone is interested I streamed round one. It's on here sandwiched between Brew Crew and Platinum.

Also scoring a hell of a lot tougher this week judging by early Xbox leaderboard on what is a very short course by TGCT standards. It's great to see how a course like this can hold its own and really shine on these settings. Master and grids on and this gets absolutely destroyed with that set up. It's really nice to have the option of both types of gameplay on the tours.

+4, +5 for +9 thru 2. Eagle on that short, drivable 4 in R2 after sticking it just past the pin and putting it in from I think just outside the green.
Whoop de doo. I wish I could say anything about the scoring based on the early PC leaderboard at this point, but seeing I was leading the very few finishers at +4 after R1 (more had left the round in the middle than those that had finished!) and was the first guy out in R2 and finished as such, hard to think a lot of us early goers had much fun out there.
I had a comment written and ready to go about my experience so far this season, but I decided not to unleash it yet and give it more time. I'll see what I feel after I finish later on in the week.

So maybe this week's greens are a bit much or I am just really bad at putting; if you want to laugh at me throwing a good front nine away with a four putt on the drivable par 4 and loosing all confidence in my putter as a result, here's the video:

I’ve played sim/no grids since tgc2 days & have always considered putting as a weakness in my game.The step up to legend has highlighted this even further.
I 4-putted twice early on in round 1 to be 5 over par after 4 holes.Managed to limp home with only 1 more dropped shot for a 6 over 75.
Went straight into round 2 with very low expectations & somehow played probably my best legend round to date coming in with a 63 to get back to even after 2 rounds.
Strange old game,just like the real game I suppose 😉

+1 and -2 for -1 going into the weekend. Made some nice birdies in R2. My putting is slowly improving. Seem to be quite consistently around par with E and +2 finishes in the first two tournaments. Definitely enjoying having a legend/no grid tour as an alternative to the main tour birdiefests. Thanks to those that post videos of their rounds as it definitely helps with the learning experience!

I thought I was an aggressive putter 👀 tbf on another day those drop and you're double figures under par. And on my first round a few got away from me too. Easy to say on hindsight but West Hill seems to demand a gently gently approach on the greens. Will try to stream my 2,3 & 4 tonight before bed. |

I hit even par round 1 and had so many putts 40ft and over but I managed to 2 putt most of them. Highlight an 58ft 2ft uphill birdie putt 2 putt though the second putt was a tricky left to right 10 footer. This is the best TST has ever been, feels like a TGCTours proper sim tour after all this time. Some will hate the difficulty but surely it should be difficult as that's the whole point. There seems to be a real interest in legend sim society golf ATM because of TST which is great for sim golf. This is Forza Motorsport golf version without all the baby aids 😉 Loving every minute, round 2 terrible start with a double on the first hole, and the front 9 hit an awful 5 over par. Back 9 rallied a 1 under back 9 to limit the damage, 4 over after 2 rounds. Will pick up rounds 3 and 4 on Saturday. |

I think that'll be sitting very nicely going into round 3 you know. Great shooting. You've been playing great on the societies on Xbox too lately  I was hoping to stream the rest of mine tonight but I seen the latest John Wick was on Prime and had a few drinks so I dread to think how my putting would be right now 🤣 will definitely stream through the week even if not on mic. Bunched leaderboard after one round! |
