Yeah, oh yeah forgot about that. I own it so all I have to do is install again. For sure will do that. It's a great looking game even though old now. Had lots of fun with it.
Edit, it's not in my list of Steam games. Must have been on of these on a different launcher. Will have to find out who it's with when the time comes and see if I can re download.

It’s a 7 year old game but it still can hold its own against other titles. Im still playing it it’s getting around about 5K people on the servers and the devs have started supporting it again last week I played a map I had never seen before.

I'm still playing and loving it.
Bear in mind, I play games a lot less time per day apparently than most others. I've been playing this pretty regularly from day one, and right now am level 30 with 70-80 hours. Skyrim was one of my most played games with 377 hours, so I have no idea how people put in 1000's of hours. hundreds is a lot to me.
But with that in mind, as said, I'm loving this one, and having a blast. I have not really delved into the research or outpost or spaceship building yet. I used the Frontier until I got the Razorleaf. Mainly I just been doing the quests, and getting sidetracked by them. I haven't really seen much repetition, the quests have all been pretty interesting, and some of them pretty funny. Like right now, me getting paid to feed the SSN fake news. LOL. But yeah, just roleplaying being a space pirate with no morals and messing with the UC every chance I get. Almost at the end of the main story, right there at the end, and I can see now why Todd said that the game doesn't really begin until you finish that. I think its pretty engrossing, and it got better once you figure out what is actually happening, how it happened, and why. I don't remember there being a break in the artifact hunting, BUT.. thats probably because i was sidetracked on other quests, and wasn't actively going after them quickly. I played Skyrim through then modded it into a completely different game, and played again... can totally see that happening with this one.
I was playing this on Geforce Now as my 10 year old 4790k and GTX 980 can't handle this. Played great on GFN. Just had a look. I'm 98.9 hours. Was around level 50 when I stopped playing. Other games came out and sucked me away. I made it to the end, but never went through the thing to get to New Game +. Also have the RazerLeaf with two auto turrets and 3 whatever cannons on it. It just obliterates any enemies. Some times can't even see them they are so far away. Just aim towards the red marker and fire. As for hours played. Destiny 2 is my/was my main game and I have around 2000 hours into that over a 5 year period. Have shelved it for the last 6 months though. I will get back into this game I'm sure. As we speak I'm having a custom gaming pc being built. As of yesterday it was on the rack being stress tested. It's all built. They stress test and tweak them for 48 hours before shipping them out. Which on a side note. I had misgivings about shipping a computer with your typical UPS/Fedex crap. Told the guy about that and he said (on Tuesday when I ordered) "when it's ready I'll put it in the car and bring it to you. You are about an hour away from our store and with such a big purchase I don't mind" They are in Toronto. I'm an hour west of TO. He called me yesterday to give me an update and said I should have it by the weekend. So with all that said, I'm looking for a couple new good looking games to try this new computer on. To which I'll be back into Starfield later this week I'm sure. My workflow will be install Steam, download PGA2K23, give it a try, then Forza Motorsport, then Microsoft Flight sim. From here I'm looking for something to give this new pc a test. May go for Cyberpunk 2077. There are a few very good looking games out there but they all seem to be melee and fighting type combat. I like gun play and open world. Alan Wake 2 is 33 percent off in the Epic Store now. It has just come out and I got it for £25 yesterday. Probably one of the best looking games yet, with path tracing on it is proper next gen stuff.

Yep. Got my eye on that and A plague Tale Requiem. Both not quite my type, but look very nice.
Wish Assassins' Creed stayed with the big open world of icon vomit maps. I enjoyed the Egypt one. But this new one has me noping out on it. For now. lol
Guess I should temper my excitement. Still haven't got this computer yet. lol
Can't wait. The ole 4790 and gtx 980 are very near their end. Been a good run though. 10 years and no hardware issues or replacements. Only thing now is dying usb ports.
