Just pony up and get the V2 and you will get back to the player you were a few years back on xbox. Lol, you always stop your rounds and rarely finish tourneys. Sorry if the last comment seemed mean. i got the G7, it seems like there is more consistency for sure. still have wacky hiccuping and lagging in the swing animation though. Its all good i know i have a tendency to rage quit its a bad habbit. If there was a rule against not finishing i would finish no matter how terrible i shot. shot 69 in TAN first go with new controller.... funny thing is i was 3 under through 2 lol Enjoy it! If it’s wired it’ll perform much better than the stock controller.

Official Xbox controllers are 125hz bluetooth and 125hz USB.

If you want to hit your target audience post up the link in the TAN, Sanctuary and USX threads as you will get more people that are interested in legend ultra sim watching. Glad you have a decent controller now for tempo and I doubt you will be complaining about 2K servers anymore

I can 100% see what you meant about the misses not being so drastic, when i first plugged in my stock controller it felt great but there was simply no consistency and one swing to the next you never really knew what was gonna happen. from first impressions this controller is much more stable and consistent. Do you know what your wired latency is in ms for your internet connection craig?

Glad you have a decent controller now for tempo and I doubt you will be complaining about 2K servers anymore Thank you for that i appreciate it i will post my twitch link in those threads and see if anyone is interesting in watching me chop the ball out the ruff lol, do you know where the 2k servers are located? I have a pocket full of excuses for poor play Thanks again for following along. i believe im following you on twitch as well but not seen you stream. I think it would be neat to get some matchplay going and stream matches. to try to garner interest for true sim on the hardest difficulty. seems all the "top" players are not intrested in playing the game on the hardest settings for some reason.

If you go into the network settings on your Series X it should give you upload/download speed and ping. Or you can just Google speed test in a browser to get your network info. The most important thing for gaming is ping, the lower the better

Download Speed: 957mbps Upload Speed: 37mbps Packet Loss 0% MTU: 1480 Latency: 47ms
If that means anything to anyone 😂

Download Speed: 957mbps Upload Speed: 37mbps Packet Loss 0% MTU: 1480 Latency: 47ms If that means anything to anyone 😂 The most important stat there is latency also know asping and anything between 40 and 60 is pretty good for gaming. I think mine is about 21, my download speed is about 70mbps and I use wi fi. Here is a description of would latency (ping) is A good ping for gaming is around 40ms to 60ms, or even lower. For reference, if your ping has a speed over 100ms, it will have an obvious delay. And if you have a 10ms ping, playing on your chosen game will feel like a smoother experience, and a faster one, in comparison to a 100ms ping. Ping (latency is the technically more correct term) means the time it takes for a small data set to be transmitted from your device to a server on the Internet and back to your device again. The ping time is measured in milliseconds (ms).

I used to have dreadful internet until we moved here last March to the point things like Rocket League were totally unplayable for me but I never had an issue with PGA even when it was at its worst. I’d imagine it has lower need for a quality connection compared to those types of games?

I’d imagine it has lower need for a quality connection compared to those types of games? I have my Series X connected to my TV and hooked up to my router with ethernet cable in my lounge. Just did a check on latency and it says 12ms which is very good for gaming. Tbh I have never had problems with the game tempo wise using a Playstation or Razer controller, but when I used a Microsoft controller out of nowhere my tempo would screw up pretty badly, it got to the point where I had to try a PS controller or stop playing 2K21. I have absolutely no problems with servers etc and it is generally a good experience online apart from that stupid fast forward on turn based ghosts , my RTX 4080 super runs this game max native 4K well over 100fps and a lot of the time it's over 120fps so that makes the game super responsive. Like you said Craig it isn't the type of game that requires constant input like say a racing game does, so can't be demanding on servers.

Blackmore Downs is one the best courses in the game. Surprised to see so many incomplete rounds. My round was like a seismographic chart. 2 birds then 20 bogeys throw in a double and a triple where I played save and five putted. Manage to finish under par.

I lost all motivation to play this game basically overnight. Going to play some other stuff and hopefully if a new version is announced I’ll be more in the mood for it then. Course looked really nice for sure though. For all I saw after two holes 😆
