We’ll get a trailer two weeks prior to launch of a guy hitting a drive, fade to a guy holing a putt with a slow mo shot of his shoes showcasing a clothing brand. It’ll launch with minimal changes for £70 (£100 for the silly bugger edition) but all the fan favourite bugs will return with a few new ones for good measure. I’ll buy the moron edition… 🤷 ha ha ha was gonna say you'll probably buy the silly bugger edition . 😜 🤣🤣

Apparently the Victrix Gambit has the fastest response time of any 3rd party Xbox controller and the GameSir G7 is just behind it but also has hall effect sticks, so no stick drift. The great thing is that Xbox users are not just limited to just stock or the V2 for this game. I have read a lot of comments that Xbox stock controllers are no good for competitive gaming because of input lag/latency issues. It is not just this game it is a problem full stop in competitive games where fast movements of the sticks and buttons are required. So what controllers are actually aloud on tgc tours? V2 wolverine it's wired and you can use the cheaper version and a few use the G7 . Most peeps on xbox use the V2 , tempo polling points are better but swing plane is difficult and is allowed on the tours . Its a faster swing then standard xbox controller. On legend the game plays superb with it imo .

I have the Victrix Gambit. It reminds me of the PS Duel Sense. Unfortunately, when I tested it, Doyley said it had a noticeable dead spot or something along that line, and he wasn't sure if it would pass API, so I shelved it. Not sure if the app for the GameSir G7 works on Xbox but the controller is default 250hz and can be changed to 500hz or 1000hz But this disables the headphone jack if you overclock the polling rate. As it has hall effect sticks the deadzone will be less also. Whats the real difference between those? 250 500 1000? i understand its the reaction time but is there really a big difference with this game if using 250 500 or 1000?

I bought the g7 and although you can turn it up from 250hz to 1000hz the swing does not work for putting or chipping as you gotta hit forward real fast with putting for you to release the putter and the chipping if you take the club back to gauge shot it returns to address super slow. its pretty strange. I had it calibrated ok for a min on legend at 500hz where i was able to hit perfects but the chipping was very unstable. if you are the player who just takes it back and hits it might be ok, but if you waggle to gauge length it returns to address super slow. very odd. i believe i read the v2 polling rate is 8000hz which is 8 times that of the highest setting on this controller so how they use it with no problems like ive experienced with a lesser polling rate i dont know.

I actually think the V2 polling rate is 250hz on Xbox and PC and the wireless pro version for PlayStation and PC is 500hz. That 8000hz you mentioned is probably for a Razer mouse, it isn't for their controllers.Dual Shock 4 and Dual Sense 5 on PC is 250hz unless you use software to overclock. You can actually overclock the Dual Sense to 8000hz on PC but I am not sure about the V2.Even if you leave your G7 at 250hz it is double the response rate of your Xbox controller.

what makes a controller legal? the swing plane or the polling? peeps use the G7 on the tours? Just pony up and get the V2 and you will get back to the player you were a few years back on xbox. Lol, you always stop your rounds and rarely finish tourneys. Sorry if the last comment seemed mean.

I love this course btw it’s a cracker. Just a weird weekend this for me and I get that LP likes to have an idea of numbers on the board. Keen to hear what you think of this course.

Sorry if the last comment seemed mean. i got the G7, it seems like there is more consistency for sure. still have wacky hiccuping and lagging in the swing animation though. Its all good i know i have a tendency to rage quit its a bad habbit. If there was a rule against not finishing i would finish no matter how terrible i shot. shot 69 in TAN first go with new controller.... funny thing is i was 3 under through 2 lol
