Looks like we're just under 60 entrants. I think I'll leave the signup window open for another 24 hours and cap it there. However, I'm also just going to open the field up to all the alternates as well. I set 40 as a reasonable number that I thought would allow pretty much everyone who wanted to enter to do so while keeping the judging workload reasonable. However, I obviously significantly underestimated the amount of interest in the contest and we'd be leaving a lot of people out who still signed up shortly after the contest opened, and it'd be a little unfair to miss a contest that wasn't really announced in advance because you don't log into the forums every day. Additionally, with historical fields of this size, a solid percentage never finish, and I think the total number of finished courses isn't going to be significantly higher than 40 anyways, and should end up being a perfectly manageable workload for judging. My plan for the results was to announce the top 20 (with the rest being "cut") and then numbering the top 10 as we count down to the winner, and I think I'm going to leave that format. It'll just be 20 out of how ever many courses finish instead of a neat 20/40. So, if you're listed in the OP, you're in the contest field. Go nuts!

Hello, new to TGC Forums but have designed a number of courses under Fleabee4295. Can somebody please tell me how to submit a course for tour consideration. I just can't find info on this. Thank you

Wanted to take a minute to announce that TannerBronson was kind enough to volunteer to help me run this contest. I'll still be around if anyone needed something before publish time, but now you've got two options if you had any questions. |

You can publish at anytime and the deadline is currently the 31st of October. On another note, I am so excited to see a talented field this year. No worries, but if I made an exception for you, I'd have to make an exception for everyone. And I'd rather not set the precedent and then make every organizer deal with a nebulous field where they don't know how many entries to expect. |

Out of curiosity in the future, is one allowed to edit an already published course (not used in contests) and get it "Major" ready?
