Just played this an hour ago. Dammit, I played it as a casual round and shot a -10. I have a sneaky suspicion that when I tee it up tomorrow for my CC-J first round I might not score as well. Love that there is no water on the left side of the fairways. Or any water. Nice course.

Just finished my final CC round for the week, and man…Ibhad a blast playing this track four times. Well done on designing a course on such rugged terrain that can handle 186 green speeds and still maintain the ability to score.

Hmm. Seems I made two miscalculations in shooting an opening round -5. My casual round was played at Pro skill level and I didn't take into consideration the sadistic nature of our schedulers who decided playing in a tropical depression would be fun.

With an opening round 56, how can I not like this place? Good tactical but forgiving golf, and probably your best green complexes. Obviously has trademark Trailducker undulation in those fairways, but the way you dialed down the greens is really, really good. Bravo sir.

BrendanOR123 Thanks Brendan! Glad you enjoyed it! I knew scores would be on the lower side on this course when it was up on CC but sounded like it afforded recovery accross the board while people also still found themselves in hairy situations so it seemed to hold up well! bubbadave Yeah CC schedulers have a tough task being such a wide range. Some people suggested splitting it into two tiers with a different course, i wonder if the same course but conditions ranked up for the higher CC levels would be better. That's just double the conditions schedulers have to playtest whcih is probably the issue. But I digress. I'm glad you enjoyed the round! There is literally no water in sight in this location IRL so that along with the width caps the damage from mishits. I wanted to make 1.) One of the most fun courses in the compeition and 2.) A feeling like you are "never out of it" especially in a Match. talented_mr_yipley Thanks and glad you had fun! I mentioned this in the comment above but being I was making it a match play course and that I tended to error on the side of too penal I wanted to make a course where you never felt you are out of it. So mishits could be saved just with a skilled recovery shot, and a bad hole can be rescued on the next hole. In judging or the competition we'll see if I crossed that line on too forgiving or not. Congrats on winning the alts and good luck on the Group stages yourself! VctryLnSprts Thanks Victor! As I said on your discord channel I am glad it was so enjoyable for so many as making a FUN AF course to play was my goal! Also glad the minipulated tees worked well to provide freshness across all four rounds. strangi17 Ben why did you have to do that to my course? Hahaha great shooting out there! Yeah it was a big effort to try and dial my greens in here. I still want to perfect the compartmentalized nature some guys can get (cough grovey31 cough) and still have the recovery potential and not a "hit this one shot or else" that I would tend to have. But here I just wanted to maintain the land features while keeping it gentle. Violinguy69 Thanks so much for all the kind words Chuck, from someone who has been here for so long that is appriciated! I still have to play your new one that I know started a bit inspired by the setting here and developed further from there! But I'm real glad you enjoyed your rounds!

Well, I was being nice and invited DAM onto The Chop and let’s just say they didn’t act the best. Give the Adventure Par 3 routing “Lil’ Chop” a play to see the carnage!

Tons of fun, except for the guests. Yes, they behaved badly, at least the grass was well fertilised!
