This is the third course in what I call my "Philly Trilogy" (following up on Camden Pines and Darby Creek). Whereas I was heavily influenced by Pine Valley and Merion with those first two courses, with this one I asked b101 to cook me up a plot (and he delivered a beauty!) and decided to more or less do my own thing. I tried to maintain a general golden age vibe, but otherwise wasn't trying to channel any particular course. Recommended tee/pin combos: 1 = blue 2= white 3 = green 4 = black Default green speed is 134 but can be bumped up to fast without a problem. ![]() ![]()

Classic really good golf from Dan. It's so cool watching a course come together on a plot you built and I felt you really brought out the best in the land you had. Definitely fit the Golden Age vibe you were going for. I'm not an expert in that style, but the fairways gave me Merion vibes at points, whilst I could see Oakmont in some of the bunkering and some of the bolder Raynor/MacDonald work around the green complexes. I always love it when a course feels like it has its own identity and I certainly got that with that mix of elements. The front nine is one of my favourite nines you've ever built (says a lot...) and I particularly enjoyed the holes along the boundary of the property. I know I've mentioned already to you, but the way you work through that 'quarry' section between the 4th and 7th is just perfect, and opens up some great visual corridors. Looking forward to checking out the other tee/pin combinations. Great stuff

PithyDoctorG , if it's not too much trouble could we get an overhead please. I thought the routing was superb and have thoroughly enjoyed your "Philly Trilogy". Good stuff!
