Welcome to Spain!
Real Club Torrox Costa is my official entry into this years CC Design Contest.
This Par 72, 7.144 yards championship course is set along the Costa del Sol in Southern Spain and is inspired by Spanish top courses such as Real Club Valderrama and PGA Catalunya.
While the landing zones off the tee are pretty generous the main defense of the course is plenty of strategically placed water hazards as well as elevation changes.
Enjoy!

Nice job looks good under a few lighting setups. Northern California look and feel. Well done liked it a lot. The lighting looks like the screenshots on my TV, but I can see how the lighting can look very different depending on hardware/TV settings. I recommend turning on "dynamic picture mode" if your TV has that option or simply turning up the brightness slightly.
Thanks for the play, glad you enjoyed the course.

Very enjoyable course with a lot of strategy and risk reward. Unfortunately my decisions led to 3 water balls and a score of -2 but will be back to try again. Lightning looked darker than your photos but still playable. Great job.

Nice course. Some really nice framing off the tee on many holes - 5th stood out to me as a beautiful outlook.
The water edging, retaining walls, hillsides and housing is all excellent. Appreciated the routing and the scale of it too - just felt really natural. Played really well with a good level of difficulty I thought.
I've never seen a fountain made that way, works pretty well.
Good luck in the comp.

I had another go today at this beauty.
Liked it even better. It has a real Valderrama vibe.

Absolutely beautiful course. Nice difficulty level for CC imo, and even though I walked away with a +8 can't even be mad because this course is just so damn good looking and fun to play. Well done!

Seems we're bumping this course today! Really enjoyed my round and it's by far my favourite of yours - feel like you went down the template hole route when designing this? Definitely payed off, lots of your best golf holes ever and the usual good looks

Yeah, I´ve been digging more an more into strategy and template holes. It was interesting to see you plot your way around the course and I always appreciate the detailed feedback you give and try to build on that. It´s nice to see I´m on the right path to hopefully get courses on tour and having more impact in contests.
