Was just having scout around a course by yeltzman and was blown away by this; I so often see designers scrimp on the off course detail, particularly with RCR's / Lidar's, this is just lovely to see. Really adds to the immersive element of the round. Other designers take note, this is the gold standard!

Adding a partial stand to make a clubhouse balcony is also a brilliant touch!

wish we had the helicopter view on xbox. Furthest we can view is a drivers length. It's a nice pic for sure!

I did play Fleetwood the other night amd that was something that was very apparent. The township was fabulous. Well done again yeltzman. Love your LiDARs!

It is annoying that it isn't possible on consoles as it also is a good walking cam for sim golf. No need for the scout cam shenanigans 🤠

It's courses like this where it's nearly criminal to me that HB/2K eliminated not only hole fly bys on each course, but haven't enabled a quality free cam mode where we console players can QUICKLY move around a course and take in the amazing designers work.

As a links course, there is very little planting. I'd love to be able to create an entire plot, but for whatever reason HB/2K limits how much you can actually use.

That’s exactly why a links course needs that added detail, it’s all about environment. I’m about to release an updated St Enodoc which was a platinum course in 2k21, it’s all about the environment with that one! On the flip side, I’m struggling to get Brookline into 2k23 for OM reasons

Thanks for the kind words Paddy it's not really needed any of this and in any case with the lowering of the camera in 2k23 you see bugger all of the course and with 90% console players in the end its not really needed loved it in 2k21 the environment bit of a come down like the whole game in 2k23.

Just want to say a big thank you Yeltzman for publishing The Grove Hotel (Watford). A course just 4.5 miles from my house. But with green fees of £180 it is too expensive for my wallet. It does look superb with the much better lighting on 2K23 over 21 and proper HDR.

Again it's more down to Youtuber Tommyt999 & Crazycanuck1985 who put him my way when he wanted it designed for a community event but Due to Covid it was cancelled he did play 3 holes in the end will have to try it on console to see how it looks, it looks like a year 2000 game on my laptop on low setting. Again thanks for the kind words.

Again thanks for the kind words. This is the problem, the games' lighting looks leaps and bounds better with HDR enabled and then the problem is HDR on your TV/ monitor needs to be really good or it just looks like SDR with a slightly higher colour gamut. I went to a 42 inch LG OLED TV and the picture is leaps and bounds better than my last monitor. Proper HDR monitors are crazy expensive though. 2k21 with Windows 11 auto HDR just made the game look overly bright and colour saturated, HDR in 2K23 (on PC anyway) just makes the game look so much better, courses look very different in different lighting with HDR on. Switch it off and the colours look washed out and the lighting very flat.

An LG 27 inch UltraGear UHD Nano IPS 1ms 144Hz HDR600 Monitor with G-SYNC® Compatibility Do I simply turn on the HDR setting on my monitor or will it not work properly as I cannot make any adjutsment via the Series X graphics menu ??

There should be a setting on your XBox console for HDR and your monitor such a hdmi deep colour or something similar. Also make sure you have a high speed HDMI cable. Also GSync is limited to PC but I assume your monitor is freesync also enabled to support your XBox VRR?. If your input is HDMI 2.1 you are good to go with VRR.
