Ive got a high end LG monitor I use to play 2K23 on my Xbox. An LG 27 inch UltraGear UHD Nano IPS 1ms 144Hz HDR600 Monitor with G-SYNC® Compatibility Do I simply turn on the HDR setting on my monitor or will it not work properly as I cannot make any adjutsment via the Series X graphics menu ?? There should be a setting on your XBox console for HDR and your monitor such a hdmi deep colour or something similar. Also make sure you have a high speed HDMI cable. Also GSync is limited to PC but I assume your monitor is freesync also enabled to support your XBox VRR?. If your input is HDMI 2.1 you are good to go with VRR. Thanks @hammers1man. I will check this out. I have a high speed 2.1 cable. Monitor has... NVIDIA® G-SYNC® Compatible with AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro Thakns again!

@hammers1man, apologies to hijack this thread but was wondering... I have my Series X setting for HDR turned on but within the game HDR is automatically selected (and greyed out so cannot be touched at all). On my monitor however it shows HDR as OFF. Any thoughts here as to what I might no be doing incorrectly ?? Note... even when I select Quality mode in the game graphics settings it does not allow me to turn HDR on or off. Thansk in advance!

It seems that HDR is set to off on your monitor, looks like VRR and 120hz is on which is good as it means your monitor has HDMI 2.1. In the HDMI settings on your monitor there should be a setting for HDR. It was called hdmi deep colour on my previous monitor. Start in the input settings.

I restarted the game and it seemed to correct itself. I must I prefer playing Series X with HDR off. Perhaps due to not as many graphics settings to tweak I cannot realise the benefits of HDR.
