Looking forward to it. 🤣🤣🤣There's no escaping the longpole 🤣🤣🤣🤣 With the hard work of bringing up 2 teenage kids , mortgage holding down a job and just keeping our heads above water my main mission in life is to grab as many top grid players as possible to give true sim a bash and after a couple of weeks your love it I managed to get r0nrun to give it a go now its your turn Asyoudo 😀 🤣🤣 Ps great shooting 1st couple rds in CC I played 2 rds this morning 17 under . Annoyed with myself I had 4 bogeys every one a 2ft putt for par otherwise it would of been a 21 under same as the mighty horusphoenix 🤣🤣 |

fransslabak I hope you don't mind me posting here but do you know of any true sim societies on PlayStation aside from TST? Or if there would be any demand for one? I'd be quite happy to set one up that has two two-round events weekly or something like that. Apologies for clogging the thread up. Just posting here in case any PlayStation guys are up for it and reply or whatever.

Well I'm once again looking to just limit damage up top... -2 in round 1. God awful, yet not terrible in the save department. -4 in round 2, could have been so much better if I could putt at all. 2 3 putts on par 5s when you can't afford that is not good. At least on the back 9 I didn't miss a single fairway or green, which is good... bad news is I was either very close to the pin or just saving par from extreme distance and nothing in between! Well, my clock is running out in the top flight. I will have at least 2 weeks left, so my quest is to delay as much as I can and I'm trying to start that on these last rounds. If I push past 5 weeks (1 demo mark per week and now at 3 completed events), I will consider that a personal victory. I have come to realize that I'm not good enough top flight player being a consistent 40th place or so hangout in the overall standings!  Cheers, good luck! |

Finally found my swing again. I still suck, but at least I got over that week+ of yips and spraying the ball all over the course with horrible tempo and swing plane. The shadows on Round 1 really messed with my putting, which turned out to be my downfall on my way to a +8. But I found my grove with the more gentle conditions in round 2. I trimmed off 7 putts to land me a +1. Was on my way to -1 before making stupid decisions that led to bogeys on 14 and 15. Just happy to not be in last place! Great course and thank you for the the tolerable 134's fransslabak! |

New Years Resolution: no more moaning! Happy New Year all! So instead of a break, and ending up with another ps5 in the house thanks to a fifteen year old wanting to play Ragnorok and me missing Gran Turismo, I switched back to PlayStation on the site and decided bugger it I'll give this game a real go on there on TST. I'm hoping the switch goes through on the site in time for this week's event. I love this course Frans. Played it a fair few times on 21 in various events. It's one of those that finds that balance between being pretty extreme but also really playable. The designer did a great job with it and the set-up on round one was really nice. Played well for a -12. Allow me a half-moan for a missed seven foot birdie putt on 17 lol Play well all! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣You've turncoated on us poor old xboxers again Craig, lol . Please in the love of God stick with it this time and GO CHASE them top PS boys . Us xboxers are rooting for yer you know the gang . Happy new year to yer Craig and all you other golfing nerds out there. Ps Don't moan at a 12 under 🤣 First round in for par. Happy with that. Have you got a thread?? |

Final 2 rounds, only 1 unlucky bogey. Just could not buy a putt. Kept on playing for break when there wasn't any in the 3rd round. Then decided to not allow for any break in the 4th round. Guess what??? Of course, there was some break.
Anyway my best score ever I think, so happy days 😌 ☺️

Just looked at the latest table for the top flight and was happy with my 6 under 3rd round so I'm clawing my way up away from a demo mark .
Asyoudo that's a great start in The Sanctuary even par without the aiming marker is fantastic if it's your very first attempt at playing that way , couple more weeks your be chucking up under par rds . We haven't really got a forum thread all the players are just on social board really and I sneak into other threads to promote the society now and again .

After a forgettable missed cut in CC-A and a pretty meh first two rounds of True Sim (+2), it was a relief to get both decent tempo and scorable conditions in rounds 3 & 4.
Went 67/68 to close - finished up the tourney at -7, which will probably be middle of the pack, but still always happy to be under par in True Sim.

After the Debacle and De Belfry am happy to be under par at the halfway point. -3 in the opener but a rather lackluster +1 round 2. Still much better than last week. Onward! Round 3 a meh -1 (coulda/should been better, had a double Humph that was preventable) and closed with -4 for a -7 finish. Might get my Hogan greenie back. Onward! |
