Dear TST enthusiasts, First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! This week is the Champions Tournament week. IRL this is played at Kapalua Plantation, which is not available in pixel golf land. Therefore, I looked for a course with equally dramatic elevation changes and greens. I think I found it: Alotian GC (in Arkansas). To assist you in scoring decently, I have slowed down the greens this week. Doesn't mean this'll be easy though...  Have fun and good luck, Frans PS Remember to finish all your rounds once you start a week - not doing so means your flight status is revoked until you complete a full four round tournament. |

Round 1 in the books. Very pretty and challenging course. Great choice Frans.
Missed some putts I should have sunk but can't complain with an opening 3 under. Landed in far too many greenside bunkers.

New Years Resolution: no more moaning!  Happy New Year all! So instead of a break, and ending up with another ps5 in the house thanks to a fifteen year old wanting to play Ragnorok and me missing Gran Turismo, I switched back to PlayStation on the site and decided bugger it I'll give this game a real go on there on TST. I'm hoping the switch goes through on the site in time for this week's event. I love this course Frans. Played it a fair few times on 21 in various events. It's one of those that finds that balance between being pretty extreme but also really playable. The designer did a great job with it and the set-up on round one was really nice. Played well for a -12. Allow me a half-moan for a missed seven foot birdie putt on 17 lol Play well all! |

Had high hopes when I saw the First Round Conditions. Shot well in practice with a few under par rounds. That didn't carry over to the official scoring. Couldn't make any putts fall in round one and ended up 2 over par. Was having fun and wanted to play round 2 to try to get back to Even. The heavy winds didn't give me as much trouble as they could have, but the putts kept burning and hanging on the edges like in round one. Ended up 3 over par for round two, bringing my Tournament to +5 after two completed rounds. Take a break, practice some more and finish round 3 and 4 after Thursday, unless I just can't stand it and have to finish.

No, Craig, half moans when you shoot -12 are not allowed… -22 total for me; played well tee to green but putted like an idiot… 🙃 -5 in the second and it took probably my best putting round ever to post that score. I knew I'd do that. Spent all day thinking about my first round score and totally tensed up when I sat down to play. Typical! |

Round 2 and another 3 under but it should have been better as I cost myself a double humph chipping up a hill with it rolling back to my feet a couple of times. Rookie mistake not checking the club distance and I should have clubbed up. Idiot!
Always happy to be under par though so I'll take it!

After the Debacle and De Belfry am happy to be under par at the halfway point. -3 in the opener but a rather lackluster +1 round 2. Still much better than last week.

Decided to finish off for the week. Pretty chuffed to have landed in Palmer flight. Highest I've ever been  Round 3 provided a bit of a hiccup where I just couldn't do anything right. Round 4 with the gentle conditions provided a bit of respite. Tough course for a player of my ability so I'll happily take this and move onward!!!  |

I saw you chasing me this morning on the big money society must off been playing the same time . I remember you getting promoted from E tour beating me by 1 stroke and I've now joined D tour and last week I pipped you by 1 stroke ha ha , you are a great rival lol 😂 Come give Sanctuary a try would love to see yer on the leaderboard. |

Enjoying our little battles 😉😁 I know there's only 10 slots but I tend to swap about Ross, like I play a couple of rds on challenge circuit and then leave join another and finally rejoin the challenge on a Saturday morning to play my final 2 rds as long as I've made the cut of course . I only keep the society's like my own , Bob, big money and USE as their request to join . I'm not giving up on yer to have a go , lol . 😂😂 we've both got 2 promos this week let's see if we can both get that single green mark this week . All the best 👍 |
