Updated Par 3 7th. Most of the course is laid out. Starting to fine tune some holes and fill in some background stuff.

Reachable par 5, 12th hole (22 feet up from tee to green)
From the tee (The bunkers and green can be seen from tee, just thought this was a nicer angle to show the full hole) Layup approach area "Going for it" approach area View of the green from about 100 yards out aerial of the green

Reachable, 526 yard par 5, 5th hole. Overhead view of the hole
View from behind the tee. A fade off the tee leaves you with a good look at the green
View from the landing area. Tree on the left isn't really in play unless you give yourself a bad angle off the tee shot.
Just short of the green. Bunkers starting to get into shape on most holes.
Just short of the green from another angle to show the generous collection area off the back/right for wayward shots.

Maybe bring that back bunker around the corner on the left a little more to indicate to the player that there's a hazard back there? Not a bad idea. I was actually just thinking about removing it completely.

Hole 15, 385 yard par 4. Two of the elements I'm going for are a course under 6900 and a course that fits into 1000x1000 grid. So there are a few shorties on this plot. 15 Overhead - hit 3W for a full Gap Wedge to the center of the green, or hit driver for a 75yd pitch the center Dogleg left. Driver brings the bunkers into play but gives you a shorter shot in. 3wd is the safe play and gives you a clearer look at the green Zoomed in a little from the tee box View from the 3w landing area

Love the planting! Nice clean look, and love the contrast with the brown grass. But the white flowers and green bushes really make it look like it belongs. Much better than just the brown grass by itself. And yes I notice the orange tree thrown in. The bunkering 'theme' looks really good, but I don't like the fairway bunkers you have on 15. I've never been one who likes a forced shot and punishes a golfer who hits the middle of a fairway. It would take me hours to do the build skylines you have, impressive.

Right on, thanks B That planting took forever, but I'm loving the way it came out. I might add a few more colors to that, but I don't want to make it too busy.
I hear ya on 15. But the way I see it is that it's a risk/reward shot. How much of the dogleg do you want to cut off? Try to cut off too much with the driver (which is completely unnecessary on this short par 4) and the left bunker won't come into play unless you really shank it fast with low power. Shank it slow and there's a slim chance you end up in the right bunker and you should if you hit a bad shot. It's hard to tell from photos, but even if you go right it slopes back to the fairway so you will likely get a generous roll back to the middle on a slightly mishit/poorly aimed shot. Hit a great drive and your ball will hold in the middle and you'll have 75 yards in.
Play it safe with a 3W on this super short par 4, and you're golden. Nothing comes into play unless you hit it off the hosel. Like you said in your message "I've never been one who likes a forced shot and punishes a golfer who hits the middle of a fairway"... hit even a mediocre shot with either club to the middle and you're golden. No weird slopes or bounces will put you in either of those bunkers or the rough. Believe it or not, that skyline wasn't that bad to create, including the entire neighborhood I've built around the course (See skyline screen grab below). Still some work to do on it, but once you start dropping buildings in, it fills up pretty quickly. The plot has a Southern Westchester County, NY vibe to it as if you were playing in the heart of White Plains, NY... just a few miles from Winged Foot. Tight course, trying to fit it all in the 1000x1000 plot and keeping it under 6900 yards. Space is limited in Southern Westchester, so those courses are tight.
Tee Shot
3 Wood gets you here Driver can get risky but not too crazy. Almost the full plot
