Going to tag designers on here with my playthroughs as I do them as I won't have all of you on Twitter. For info, I'm not doing playthroughs for everyone in the contest, just those I'm assigned in the first two rounds and will do any of the top ten that I'd not been assigned previously. I'm adding a new video every day at 3pm GMT, so either follow along there or see this thread every couple of days when I add them in bulk. Disclaimer here: These are my opinions rather than those of all judges, but they are hopefully well-justified and exemplified. With all playthroughs, there will be things you agree with and things you disagree with - that's fine. Your job is to reflect on that feedback; take on board what you think is correct and ignore things where I'm just at odds with your vision. I will be both positive and hyper-critical - also, please bear in mind that they're often recorded around the interruptions of small children, so if I sound frustrated, the playthrough is quicker than others or I repeat myself, it's likely because I had to pause recording to deal with them. If you're a more experienced designer, expect more nitpicks as that's likely what you want and need from this process. I'll also post them in the threads for you to bump them, but will happily delete them from there if you'd rather not. Also, do drop me a PM with your thoughts - for me, the judging video isn't the end of the process, so do reach out if you would like further clarifications or just to start a discussion  --- Finally, particularly if you're new, it's great practice to watch experienced designers play courses to train your eye and gain that understanding of why and where you should be doing things differently. PithyDoctorG and Q have also been doing theirs and I still pick up things from them that I wouldn't have noticed or considered in my own judging rounds. With Dan's in particular, it's great to see how the courses play with no scout cam, which shows just how vital clear sightlines, good hole designs and sensible hazard placements are. --- strangi17 jcollick mjhamilton113 |

If anyone wants to review Sandchase Golf Club…it was an alternate and only approved not tour worthy but it would be cool to be able to pick your brains about my designs.

Conrgats everyone. Is anyone able to provide any feedback on edgewood national so I can improve for future courses. Felt I did a good job so its hard to critique my own work if you get me, just drop a dm to @eddieemodesign on twitter as it’s probably easiest. TIA
