OK.... my course is done and I don't want to look at this anymore... lol.... What do I need to do to officially submit this course for review?

The publish window doesn't open on this comp until the end of March. Trust me, give it a week or two and look again. You'll want to make changes and fine tune things. You have two months to think about it! LoL |

I have went through it with a fine toothcomb a few times. If I look at it again, I will start over and do it again. lol. I will just work on my other 4 projects and let it sit until then..... I would love people to play it but I was told we cannot release even a BETA until be publish.

I would love people to play it but I was told we cannot release even a BETA until be publish. Correct, the nature of the contest is such they don't allow beta testing. Its against the rules.  Since you are technically a competitor I should not give you any advice, but I would rather see people do well than see them fail. I assume you want to do well in the contest, so I would strongly recommend that you spend more time on it after a bit of a break. I know many of the names in this contest and there are some very very good designers with lots of skills and time put into the designer. If you want to actually compete with them your course will need to be top notch, from golf strategy to technical design. Anyway, you do you. Good luck with the contest! |

So on elevation from tee to green…if your tee is elevated and you sink the ground which causes your approach shot to be 13 yards instead of 10-11 does that disqualify?
Because from tee to green its measuring an 8 yard elevation?
Its no biggie…i’ve got a few other challenges i can replace it with but I realized i might have messed up here lol.

Because from tee to green its measuring an 8 yard elevation? yup, a better description is land movement within the hole area can't exceed 10 meters (10.9 yards) (land outside of playable area/ inbetween holes is fine) I wouldn't say it would disqualify your course, more or less it's one criteria of judging that is being weighed. Just know that in the event of two equally good courses being compared to each other, how well they fulfilled their criteria would generally serve as an easy tie-breaker |

Noticed the submission window is only 2 weeks prior to the deadline. Usually there is a little more room prior. I would think there would be a ton of courses dropping that may not get much exposure. Any chance on opening it up a little sooner? Or we expecting the usual extension?
