I have had the game since it came out and quite honestly I am no better now than I was then using Master Swing.
I think I have been kidding myself and am not enjoying the struggle to hit the ball at this level, I honestly don't know if it it will be fast, slow or perfect when I swing and any real golfers will understand you cannot play this way.
I quite enjoy the challenge of the game on Pro Swing so will continue to play society's that use this method.
I am hoping the EA game next year will be better

I think that is the thing that frustrates me with the 2K stick swing, in that two swings that feel the same to me can be seen as fast and slow in the game. My swing path is usually in an acceptable zone, but my timing can seem to flip all of its own accord.
This is one reason I was happy to see 3-Click make an appearance in 2K23 and also TGC switching the old Beer League to 3-Click to allow us old farts to have somewhere to play, lol.
Hopefully EA will provide a stick swing that offers some understandable feedback to the player to help them identify where the swing is going wrong.
Try and enjoy the game wherever you may continue to play it Andy.

Just played the 3 click for first time, it's interesting but very hard, I may start a new career mode on 3 click as it seems to be fairer on shots, just needs a lot of concentration
97, 88, 80, 77 +54 🤪
. However I think I did par the last 7 holes in R4

I'm using a Series Controller on a PC, and its completely random it feels like at times. Haven't made a cut so far, in G. The cut lines are more than double what it took to get into G, strange.

I'm using a Series Controller on a PC, and its completely random it feels like at times. Haven't made a cut so far, in G. The cut lines are more than double what it took to get into G, strange.
That controller gives you Xbox tempo on PC so that’s the issue |

Is your WiFi signal stable? I've found the tempo in this version to be very consistent aside from busy holes where it skips frames on the swing. If you're on an older console or slightly weaker pc that might be the issue if there is one. |

Agreed, playing on a newer PC here, I'm not often surprised by which way my tempo misses, just putts showing break that go straight. 😄 |

However I think I did par the last 7 holes in R4 I am not good but like the game quite a bit. Playing 3 click Master I find chipping and severely downhill putts more difficult than when using the swing stick. If EA can replicate this 3 click style next year I'll be happy but they got a lot of work to do on the putting. That truly sucked on Rory. Hey it's EA ya never know WTF you're gonna get. |

I feel your pain and am terrible at this game.
However, after recalibrating (for the first time after the initial setup), I am doing much better- I couldnt even qualify for a tour card and just did after that recalibration.

I definitely relate to the OP. I play on PS5, have the fastest internet speed possible for Verizon Fios, hardwired to modem, plugged in PS5 controller, yet all of my swings are inconsistent. Even after calibrating multiple times, my swings always feel random. I’ve tried multiple camera angles, watching the shadow, feeling the vibration, taking practice to get a rhythm and don’t see any consistencies. Even when you do get a good tempo on a practice swing, when you switch back the controller sometimes gets stuck. Very frustrating.
