Little things that niggle me are things like only 1 generic player swing for male and female players. Yes, they have added Pro's that you can play as but you can't use these for your My Player. You would have thought they would have offered up 3 or 4 different swing styles/types for each gender so we could choose the one we wanted.
Customisations like clothing, where all the trousers and shirts seem to be the same tight/narrow fit.
No option to amend the caddy clothing or the golf bag.
Why not allow players an option of buying an item of clothing and letting them pick the colour, instead of having to buy 6 of the same shirt just to have a colour option in your wardrove.
Even the course designer has only had minor tweaks from the previous version.
The new ball physics, archetypes and fittings aside, it feels very much like 2K21 v2.0

In my previous post a few days ago, I mentioned that I had opened two tickets for 2K support. One for the "auto add friends" feature that shows up in Settings > Society, which if you read the description, you and your friends should just be able to show up in a society event at the same course, start playing, and be auto-added to one another's scorecards. The second ticket was for the ability to no longer add "live ghosts" as others have mentioned. Well, they decided to combine them into one, and these are the two most recent responses I received, sadly, I don't know anything now that I didn't already know, if anything, I'm more confused. First response: December 9 Kriti T., Dec 9, 2022, 23:41 PST: Hi Korym, I hope you are doing well! As mentioned in the previous mail regarding your concern forwarded to the appropriate team, we have received a word from the team which I wanted to share with you. Our team has looked into your concern thoroughly and would like to inform you that Auto-Add Friends option which is not letting you to add your friends is intended. The Players are not supposed to be able to do the same and this is a fixed in-game mechanism. Therefore, we're extremely sorry for any inconveniences this may have caused. Thank you for your continued patience and loyalty and we appreciate the efforts of dedicated players like You and happy that you are a part of 2K Family with us. If you have any other questions or concerns then please don't hesitate to ask again. It will be our pleasure to assist you further!! Wish you and your beloved ones a healthy life!! I am a bit confused by your last response. Are you saying that the "auto add friends" setting is not supposed to work at all? If that is the case, why is that even an option? It did not exist in PGA 2k21.
Or are you saying that we should no longer be able to choose "add live ghosts" during society events? Because that feature worked in all of the previous games, including this one, until patch 1.006.
Please explain.

It would have been IMPOSSIBLE for me to do any of those job without knowing the product inside and out. With a video game, this is especially true when accepting bug reports, as you need to be able to recreate it on your end and document the process to send onto the developers. Has anyone had to deal with them for an issue with NBA? I wonder if this issue is going to 2k direct, or if 2k really limits the budget for PGA only, so they outsource just the PGA customer service. Either way, it's really not a good look. I am always amazed at the way companies try to cut costs by downgrading vital pieces, and keeping pointless pieces. I am willing to bet their was some easy to trim fat located in-house that could be used to pay for in house customer service reps who actually understand and care about the games.

Yeah I got 150.8 hours playing time until now. It's where my friends are so I will keep playing it, I'm just questioning the price tag compared to what you actually get. I have no idea how many hours I have played. I easily have spent more time building one golf course than playing the game. I do know I bout 2K21 at the end of June and had 650 hours in before 2K23's launch.

I've never tried to contact a company for customer service on a video game. I spent years in the tech support space working for companies like Xbox and Apple. I was a hardware guy and worked directly for those companies. Never had to deal with games or apps but I do know that a lot of cost cutting is done by outsourcing overseas for those. Most of the time the reps are given if/then scripts to follow. Fill in the blanks with the customer responses and the script will either lead them to some solutions for the customer to try or direct them to escalate it. What happens next could be anything or nothing. If it got to someone who gave a crap, they would contact the customer back and try to reproduce the problem.

Support is a strong word. It’s more like an automated word salad generator.
None of it reads like English and there is no actual help or follow up outside, sorry there is nothing we can do.
Not sure the devs are much better. Release Christmas hat over matchmaking. A candy cane over disconnects.
I love the game, but seriously, where is the feedback?

Thanks for the support guys, I've gotten more from the people on this forum than from HB / 2K I'm not sure where to go from here, obviously, the people who initially complained about the consumable balls got the attention of someone because that was fixed somewhat quickly, we need to find out how that happened! In all reality, I knew it was a roll of the dice reaching out to them, but I felt I should try to do something. What's kind of sickening is that Tiger put his name / likeness on this product, if only he knew.... I may try reaching out via Social Media, just as a last ditch effort!
