EA is just a cash grab, remember when the mcillroy game was supposed to be the next best thing?...it was dreadful, so many games are sold to us as the next best thing and turn out to be awful, at least this golf game plays well for the most parts, yes its not perfect but its the best golf series since I played links 2004 on the xbox...loved that game.....dont expect great things from EA....wasn't there last battlefield game supposed to be the next best thing also?....im sure the next EA golf game will be ok a year or so time after its release with updates.

EA will IMO look great and have some good features regards character customisation, a good ( but easy if wish) career mode , a good choice of equipment but no course creation so will be repetitive and thus boring. Get a course creator to null the repetition and it would win by first round KO.

Let's not forget that this game is also a huge cash grab, pay over a 100 € for a half-baked, dated looking arcade golf game, it's preposterous.

I started playing My Career to get the free shirt/hat (yea, I fall for invitations to grind, plus I still have a few levels to get to 50) and the stutter is worse than I have ever experienced in this game. I thought this patch fixed that. Now I understand the frustration (I didn't have it often in the past).

I paid over $100 for two copies. Only regretting buying it on the XBox, since I've only played there twice.

Already nearing 150 hours played and really enjoying the game, so it's been good value IMO.

Yeah I got 150.8 hours playing time until now. It's where my friends are so I will keep playing it, I'm just questioning the price tag compared to what you actually get.

I am amazed how much people pay for cosmetic stuff in games.
If I wanted that 3 days early access I would of have to have paid nearly double the price for that with cosmetic gear and crappy golf balls I'd never use. The Tiger version over double the price, on Steam they were asking £105 for it, wow now that is taking the piss out of us.
No way would pay that it's a total rip off.
Very happy with the price I payed at launch and it is definitely worth £42, my friend recently bought the game for £27.
The only DLC I would pay for in this game would be courses if they were good RCR's and that would also depend how much they are asking .attire, clubs and balls are just not worth the money in my view.
So all said and done, the price of the game is actually nowhere near 100 euros.

Since I reinstalled Windows and the game I am not experiencing any stutter anymore. Very smooth now, I installed Windows and the game to my NVMe drive, I do use Gsync so used to very smooth framerates apart from some games that have the dreaded shader compilation loading stutter such as Jedi Fallen Order.

You mean to tell me, you don't LIKE seeing 2 foot putts and approach shots randomly fast forwarded?  LOL.

When live ghost was WORKING, half of the shots my player attempted were fast forwarded by this glitch.  Nothing better than watching a fast forwarded par 3 hole in one from a guy who did NOT hit the fast forward button.

In other news.... I went into the ghost plays for the society course being played this week to look for missing leaderboard plays (because, ya know that is what they intended for society leaders to do) and now that seems to be all @!$#ed up as well. I should of seen 45 names x 4 rounds for 180 plays and was lucky to find 10 plays total in the last week. Again, not surprised by anything that happens with these guys anymore.

Missing the live play in society is a big deal. For some, this is the only way they play rounds in this game. The issues with the designer are also a big deal as well. The designer makes this game and if you cannot get people the tools they need for ports or make some changes to the designer to keep the people interested in making content, people will eventually move onto some other game. We should be getting patches for things weekly, not treated them like DLC and releasing stuff every 6 weeks because just about every time they half-assed fix one thing, they destroy a few other things that were not broken.

I for one am angry at how not being able to add friends live is screwed on society. Many of my society games were spent playing against-with my friends. I hope they fix that. And I am always for designers getting new tools after all it is their designs that have kept this game alive.
