I thought the fittings were too overpowered the way they were, so nerfing them is a good thing. The problem is the timing of it. Players that haven't obtained better fittings or were holding on to fittings to exchanging/upgrading later, really got hosed. What's next, charging for using the fittings? Seriously, I'm surprised VC happy 2K didn't think of that considering they charge for using the magic balls. They could have made Common fittings free and then increased the "fee" (VC?) on the other fitting tiers. Whether that would be per round, per event, or even per club, I don't know. But, yea, I'm really surprised 2K didn't think of it. This game reminds me of the movie Apollo 13 ... GENE: EECOM, is this an instrumentation problem, or are we looking at real power loss here? SY: It's, it's reading a quadruple failure - that can't happen! It's, it's got to be instrumentation... GENE: Let's look at this thing from a... um, from a standpoint of status. What do we got on the spacecraft (aka game) that's good? SY: [pause] ... I'll get back to you, Gene. Yeah... this is pretty ridiculous. I was a little late to the game and now I've missed all the overpowered fittings? Nice! For once, it pays off to be the Alpha testers! |

Played around 7 rounds last 2 days. Best is 2 green fittings. Have had 3 sleeves of balls and a nothing.
Now VC not needed for balls and now fittings then I'm off to buy a 3000 VC top.
Or maybe not.

I mean those who bought at launch (twice) lol Absolutely and I think they should. That or wipe everyone's fittings that are currently fit, put the corresponding nerfed fitting in their library to select from and compensate VC for the removed fitting. They were OP and from what I've read, allowed people to build a more rounded player away from the archetype identity selected. The fittings should be more a minor adjustment to the archetype selected IMO. |

I have few clubs outfitted with legendary. One of the reasons is, I'm finding some epics and even rares with no negatives.
I have only one legendary driver fitting, a +11 lie range head. Who the heck needs a +11 lie range that nerfs swing path and shaping?
Not sure of the point of 'lie range' and 'driver' being linked together at all as fitting or skill boosts.
Maybe 2 shots a round with driver that aren't on a tee with a 99-100% lie, even on a long course. Most rounds that number is zero.
The way I'm set up, I am a rhythm player who has maxed out timing and swing path. I'm all about the largest grey area I can get. This makes me accurate but shortens up my clubs. My driver is listed at 269 yds and my 3 wood at 256 yds. I wouldn't need to hit the driver off the deck so to speak. I suppose if there were a huge gap between the two, it might be nice for a short distance player to add more yards on a very long par 5. |

Keep an eye on fittings guys. They might have been un-nerfed. Watching JustJordan's stream live and he just got a legendary Orange fitting and it was back to +8 per pair / +24 overall... It's official: So it was deliberate eh. But they maybe didn't consider the inequity between those that have been able to grind for 100/200 hours since day 1 and those that are just picking up the game. Fair play, at least they have sorted it. Who is this Zaro guy? He provides some useful commentary - is he on Twitter?

According to discord, he's a "Sr. Manager, Community Content @ 2K". So he's not a dev or anything. His twitter is twitter.com/zaro. And he doesn't seem to tweet about games much on his personal twitter account. |

So we want your money and we will control your enjoyment going forward...kf 2K....im getting fed up as a 50 year old being told when you pay 50 quid for a game "we are going to decide how you play the game going forward"....day by day im going back to retro consoles without this constant b..lsh.t of this is how you play games and weryre charging you for add ons also....if your aged 30 or below I feel sorry for you, you've missed out on the golden era of gaming.

Deliberately making the bottom three tiers all the same value, lmao. I'm not sure if admitting that is better than just saying that there was a mistake because the intern left in charge of the game doesn't know how to code well.

This is worrisome. It seems a lot of choices aren't really given proper debate or thought through. They just say 'hey, why don't we do this' and then they do without considering the effects, only to have the Beta Testers (us) tell them it's a bad idea and unfair, then revert back. |
