Hmm. I haven't seen a fitting over +12 since launch. I didn't realize they went that high.

They've dropped them so much that a blue or green is just as good. Least that's what it looks like. I've not been on last few days so earned none but seems to be an issue from screenshots I've seen

The fittings nerf/bug is wiiiild. It does look like they adjusted down all the tiers and not just legendary so it could be on purpose.
I wonder if the fittings we acquired previously were also nerfed but the numbers just haven’t changed. Anyone notice a difference in their play since the patch?

So is it true that the patch removed the cumbersome process of adding a live ghost in society rounds to now we cannot play live friends in society at all? Geez, guess that was part of stability fix. Yep, my friends and I noticed this last night as well. That current "cumbersome" process sucked anyways, but it was better than nothing. It worked incredibly well in 2k21, you could just all go to the tee box, add each other, and play. I also don't get why they have that settings > social setting thing that says "auto add friends" that doesn't seem to work either. As someone else commented, he knows there are some people that ONLY play society events this way, I know my friend, and my Dad and I play 2 seperate societies this way in particular. It's frustrating! For anyone interested, I have now opened 3 tickets with 2K Support since launch. Two are related to this live ghost stuff (one ticket opened in October that they just closed because they referred it to the appropriate team and would not be providing further updates" and the second one I opened last night after we discovered patch 1.006 broke the live ghost thing. The other ticket I opened is in regard to the "auto add friends" setting that I mentioned above. I did send screenshots and videos to them, hopefully I'll get someone who can fix something. Usually I just get a reply telling me to reboot my router or clear my cache... Thanks for letting me vent, glad to see I'm not the only one who noticed these unfortunate changes.

Looks like I won't be exchanging the fittings I have for new ones until we get some clarity on whether this is a permanent change.

Bold to assume there's even a room for that. Probably a toilet stall considering their crappy decisions for what they bother addressing, what they ignore, and what they change without saying anything.

One of the reasons is, I'm finding some epics and even rares with no negatives.
I have only one legendary driver fitting, a +11 lie range head. Who the heck needs a +11 lie range that nerfs swing path and shaping?

You sending in those support tickets is greatly appreciated by many I'm sure. They made the add live ghost process a chore and apparently with the 'update', broke it completely. Isn't that just great. It's the best way to play society, playing 'live' (HB calls 20 second delay 'live' lol) with friends. They just keep stepping on their pecker with each update released.

I thought the fittings were too overpowered the way they were, so nerfing them is a good thing. The problem is the timing of it. Players that haven't obtained better fittings or were holding on to fittings to exchanging/upgrading later, really got hosed. What's next, charging for using the fittings? Seriously, I'm surprised VC happy 2K didn't think of that considering they charge for using the magic balls. They could have made Common fittings free and then increased the "fee" (VC?) on the other fitting tiers. Whether that would be per round, per event, or even per club, I don't know. But, yea, I'm really surprised 2K didn't think of it.
This game reminds me of the movie Apollo 13 ...
GENE: EECOM, is this an instrumentation problem, or are we looking at real power loss here?
SY: It's, it's reading a quadruple failure - that can't happen! It's, it's got to be instrumentation...
GENE: Let's look at this thing from a... um, from a standpoint of status. What do we got on the spacecraft (aka game) that's good?
SY: [pause] ... I'll get back to you, Gene.

I was a little late to the game and now I've missed all the overpowered fittings? Nice!

Not sure of the point of 'lie range' and 'driver' being linked together at all as fitting or skill boosts.
Maybe 2 shots a round with driver that aren't on a tee with a 99-100% lie, even on a long course. Most rounds that number is zero.
