Well both the boss and Joe need to have a read of the twitter replies to the official 2K tweet about the cena character. Not glowing at all. Unless of course you read certain twitter handles that have an affiliation with the game and dare not say anything bad about it. I don't get the angst, but I don't play as any other golfer. Would be nice if they added some depth to the character creator though. the angst is driven by how many other issues this game has yet they spend time on this rubbish |

As I was backing out of 2K23, I noticed the 3rd Season Clubhouse has started advertising Spyglass and Pinehurst as imminent. Will we have an update drop tomorrow? They announced Spyglass and Pinehurst coming to Season 3 back in December when they shared a roadmap. Season 3 runs for another 70+ days, so they could drop tomorrow, or it could be another month and a half. Not to mention there were things that were supposed to come in Season 2 (like the clothing brand Eastside Golf) that aren't released yet either. FYI...Eastside Golf stuff is coming, starting tomorrow. Log into the game, collect the item from the pro shop, and get all 9 to get an extra bonus at the end of the week. |

Per the 2K23 Discord:
The following Ranked Matchmaking updates are live now on all platforms, with changes and improvements that tune the Ranked system to allow for easier movement to higher tiers, and make it easier to maintain tier achievement:
• Increased the rating gained for wins
• Decreased the rating lost for losses
• Made further adjustments to tune win/loss amounts for players at each ranking tier
This is a server-side update, and no new installation is required.

Where are we at with live ghosts at the moment? Is this still broken? Kinda works... If you add each other on the 1st tee you will get each other as generic default man Number 1, but if one of you goes to the 1st tee then the other player adds you before they start their round, they will see your normal golfing avatar |

No excitement here. Not a bloody clue who the hell they are. And I certainly wouldn't waste my time playing as them. I haven't a clue either, I assume some high handicappers with a YouTube channel. I do think trying to break 90 on legend setting would be a laugh. Just look at their stats. It would be a challenge even on amateur tees. Apex's video has me laughing out loud Tbh.🤣 Stuff like this is a great idea, I can't knock it as it is just harmless fun. |

However, just played with two friends last night, 18 holes took us 2 hours 45 minutes. We were all under par, -13, -8, -6, so it isn't like we were shooting 80's or 90's. Just very very laggy, 2 playstation 5's and 1 playstation 4. For comparison, the three of us played the same course, settings, etc. in a "private match" and it took us 45-60 minutes... I have sent a message on discord, but who knows what will happen next... As for the generic default man Number 1 issue, we have found that if you add each other on the first tee, hit a shot or two, exit the match and then go right back out, everyone looks as they should. Again, it is a bit wonky, but it works. Don't forget to turn the "turn order" back to "on" each time you get back on the tee box. |

Twice now I have played someone in Ranked who is driving the ball with 380yds of carry? No wind to help just these huge, very high shots that carry for ever. I quit both matches as it appeared to be a hack or some sort of cheat. Rather lose righteously than to play 9 holes like that. I can drive consistently in the 340 range with goofy balls but can the balls and "powerhouse" setting give legit 400yds in the air??
