I suppose my point is: It didn’t matchmake like this before and now it does. So either. - The player base has dropped massively in a week…. Or - The matchmaking system has changed somehow. I know what my money is on. Yeah don't get me wrong I have no confidence at all in HB and their maintenance / updates. But if I'm understanding you right you matched with someone with 500 places difference in the leaderboard? Considering it relies upon both parties searching for a game at the same time, time zone differences etc etc I don't think it's really feasible to have a system that waits for e.g. a limit of 100 places between players or you'd have LONG wait times which would drive people further away from the mode. Imo of course. I'm just speculating though, I could be entirely wrong. I've been in your shoes with other games that aren't massively populated too and I think it's a tricky balance finding the sweet spot between prioritising even matchups and actually getting a match started at all, you know? I don’t mind playing people better than me. It happens on ladder-style games. I played people a few hundred places higher or lower, which seemed reasonable. I am placed 1442 on the global leaderboard, they were 4th. Something has gone wrong here in my opinion. It didn’t happen before and now it does. You may be right that the player base is small but the matchmaking was swift. Matching people that far apart seems like a matchmaking error that just wasn’t happening a week or so ago. |

Demo mark incoming, game is unplayable at the moment, saying I have no connection but clearly I do in posting this, its ridiculous you pay good money for these games and get rubbish products, have supported this game from the first TGC 1 but seems like 2k23 is a massive fail. I am very supportive of the developers but c'mon guys, give us some details on fixes, I know this is not a 2K support site so just a little vent at present.

Aside from the slightly wonky matchmaking I have no complaints about how the game runs on PS5 at the moment. Hope it gets sorted for you and the many people who report similar issues. Cheers. |

My mistake I misread and didn't realise the disparity in rank was just so big. It sounds like they have it set to prioritise matching with anyone at all available then and could do with tweaking for sure. I think it's possibly also the nature of 20 minute matches that means they have to prioritise getting games started to some extent over balance. It's not like e.g. Rocket League where you're in and out of a match in five minutes and there are always people queuing to play afterwards. But it sounds like it's a little heavy handed indeed. |

So sitting around production…. “Right we have 40 labour hours to put into the designer, what should we add?” Joe pipes up “a toll booth and a police box boss”. Boss replied “@!$#ing brilliant. Yes!!! Get on it” Joe puts his hand up “Boss boss boss, this week I want to add a player? John Cena!!!!!” The rest of the room sits silently for 8 seconds before …… yelling and screaming YESSSSS JOE!!!! Matchmaking has been out for a while now, and there were server issues there for a while. Agree with Craig, I think you're seeing a limited pool of players to choose from. And hell, it's match play - go beat them. Not only match play but it's on pro difficulty. I got bored with it immediately and all the crying about 3click didn't help my "fun". It's fun for a change of pace but it ruins my Master Difficulty game. So I stopped playing ranked and the 3 click tour to focus more on Master Difficulty "practice". I think it has helped me improve a bit. |

As I was backing out of 2K23, I noticed the 3rd Season Clubhouse has started advertising Spyglass and Pinehurst as imminent. Will we have an update drop tomorrow?

As I was backing out of 2K23, I noticed the 3rd Season Clubhouse has started advertising Spyglass and Pinehurst as imminent. Will we have an update drop tomorrow? They announced Spyglass and Pinehurst coming to Season 3 back in December when they shared a roadmap. Season 3 runs for another 70+ days, so they could drop tomorrow, or it could be another month and a half. Not to mention there were things that were supposed to come in Season 2 (like the clothing brand Eastside Golf) that aren't released yet either. |

I would love to be able to choose from the pros swings for our golfer. I think that would be a nice feature to have. Some of their swings look a lot nicer than the default one. |

I think that would be a nice feature to have. Some of their swings look a lot nicer than the default one. How about just having golfers of different shapes? Not just height. Need some husky guys and gals out there. And the facial hair came straight out of the witness protection program. Could it look more fake? Onward. |
