You get less and less arcade by the day my friend, soon you shall be a purist 😉 I'll be a purist when DB can be played on very fast greens at East Lake. Until then, don't take the safe space this tour is creating for an act of purity The greens being playable at East Lake is less likely than the Habs winning the Stanley Cup

I'm a Colorado/Nordiques fan since the first day. And the sinmle fact that you admitt it can't be played on very fast at East Lake, a thing that REALITY is saying that we should be doing easily, should permanently gives you an arcade taste in your mouth when you play this game. The very least they could do is making this skins. Then I would feel the default ball is acting like a real ball. Would help for immersion alot!!

I do admit it but with quite a significant caveat - 2k design rubbish courses and they don’t know how to place pins! Good shout on the Avs, I grew up watching Forsberg, Sakic, Foote, Roy etc. great team who are now back on top

I'm not so sure. I think quite a few would find the game a lot less enjoyable if they were just playing with the base archetypes. Archetypes are great, skills less so Yeah, they decided to go down the route of offering an incredible level of customization for each player. Using the skills, fittings and balls to let everyone play to their own strengths, or mitigate their weaknesses. Too much customization for some I guess.

If it wasn’t for the roll attribute, they’d have knocked it out the park. It was a great idea and potentially in the future it could be a really good addition, just needs tweaking a bit

That's not very level playing field of you my friend As in, I’m all for legendary fittings etc, just not skills that turn off / on if you hit 2x fairway etc If your Legendary fittings give you a lie range of 75%-80% in the rough while my lie range is 60%-80% then you've changed the conditions of the course and we're not on a level playing field. The rough is considerably less penal for you.

I retired from competitive hockey at 20 and even then early composite sticks like the Easton Synergy were £120. I started playing beer league / rev hockey again last year and the decent twigs are now £300! Skates are the biggest change though, back in the day top end Graf or CCM were £400 max, now it’s like £900 for Bauer Vapours. Crazy. If you want a laugh, this is the article from my last serious match, I lost a bet and had to drop the mitts with a well known enforcer, as you can see in the photo, it didn’t go well 🤣 www.oxfordmail.co.uk/sport/2077991.ice-hockey-tempers-flare-stars-finale/

Smaller dude on the right I am assuming. The other guy looks like the textbook enforcer.

There’s lots that needs tweaking moving forward with this new system but they’re onto something positive and it could be great in the future.

Took them all on my forehead! Managed to stay on my feet and stupidly gave the crowd a clap skating off as it was my last game, he thought I was celebrating and saw red, tried to come after me in the locker room but one of my teammates smashed him through the fire escape and we had an off ice bench clearance. Utter carnage but an interesting way to sign off!

They got rid of the chipping in the bunkers. Why can’t they adjust these consumable balls and tone them down a bit? People are waiting for EA but with that game you will probably get the super sling shot super drive of 450 yds as you will get the extra power boost in mid air as you slam on the buttons and the ball will then release their booster rockets off of the side and your ball and is then catapulted in space like the space shuttle.

I always assumed the actual lie was fixed, and that the 'range' meant I had some guesswork to do in swing strength & club selection.
Is it 60 or 80 or somewhere in between ? 20 possible points.
Narrowing that range simply makes my knowledge better, not the lie itself. Instead of a 20% range, now I only have a 5 point window, probably the same club covers it. Guessing wrong will be far less from my target.
But, I could have misunderstood what the 'Lie range' did ... I'll re-read this one.

But, as a photographer myself, I hope you took the photographer out to dinner, because they worked some magic in making it look like you actually had the upper hand. The confused and shocked look on his face and the angle of the punch (although, it would have looked REALLY bad ass if your fist was fully clenched😂), is absolutely brilliant. Bravo paddyjk19, bravo!

Some of the NextMaker video content early on did mention that a better Lie Range attribute meant you could get a slightly better percentage than if your attribute was lower.
