I also love that they've apparently restricted chipping from bunkers. Good luck all those chippers out there who haven't bothered to learn the splash and cheese the chip 🤣

I'm not an IRL golfer so hear me out. In this game, they got rid of the splash shot when on the fairway/rough etc. Everyone loved this because it wasn't an IRL golf shot and a splash shot was meant for the bunker. Chips out of the bunker ARE an IRL shot, based on what I've heard/read. Why not just make the difficulty level higher rather than remove the option entirely? |

Only used other balls than default about 6 times so like the idea. I did buy a dozen purple friction ones but not really sure what you can use VC for now. Clothes I suppose but not really important are they.
And no. I dont intend playing nude

TGC Tours will be prohibiting consumable golf balls (pending testing) starting Week 3. This is appreciated as I have only used default balls and I think it's a disadvantage especially with greenspeed. To bad they didn't just make the greenspeed the same for all balls. |

The margin for error is perfect ball then sand contact or it’s a duff. With a splash shot IRL a it’s huge margin for error, you can take 1-3 inches as a point of impact behind the ball and it’ll go the same distance regardless if you’re in that range of contact and not steep with your swing. It’s an easy choice |
