Not trying to game the system or get lots of cash easy or fast. I'm just trying to figure out when you DO get them.
I played about 5 rounds yesterday, and noticed a couple times I didn't get anything at all. I played local matches for my NFL society, my career, and the exhibition #3 event which was still active.
I thought it might have been in my mind, or me forgetting how much I had, so I jotted down the number today.
Played two rounds, a my career and the KEG Q school round 1. got VCs for my career, got nothing for the Q school round.
So just wondering, when do you get them, and when do you not?

You get 25VC each time you play a course and don't exceed the shot limit on any holes, and then you 250VC each time you level up. You get more experience points in career mode and thus level up faster when playing career mode.

Career mode is the meta. You get one lot of VC and fittings / balls for each tournament and another set for beating your rival plus sponsor unlocks too each event. Just set one round events and grind. The harder the difficulty the better the rewards although don’t make it too hard because if you finish >25th you don’t get a lot. Also be sure to upgrade your lower / not required fittings to better fittings and try not to fit anything less than purple as it’s a waste of VC |

So how come I didn't get anything on my Q-school round 1 at KEG? I did not hit the shot limit anywhere in the round.

It doesn’t give you a notification like in career mode but stuff does appear I believe |

That is what is confusing me. I thought that might be the case, and I just was forgetting how much I actually had, and it was appearing without a notification, so I took a sticky note and jotted down my vc's. I know for a fact that they did not increase at all after Q school round one yesterday. Round was +8, no shot limits, only 2 double bogies.
again, not trying to game the system or get the most for nothing, just trying to figure out why I didn't get any at all.

Sure would be nice to earn some VC when someone plays one of our courses we design. All the hours people put in designing courses to help build up the interest in this game it only makes sense. I play 2 rds a day except for my one day off a week. I can barely scape enough VC to enter society tourneys.
Whatever happened to society bonuses? And the society bank?

If it's just one round, maybe you just got a bit of VC and a ball sleeve, or gray fitting? I go in periodically after playing society rounds and there is usually an assortment of new fittings and VC. |

Its not really the fittings or ball sleeves I'm wondering about, its just the VCs by themselves. The total shows up in the HUD, upper right at all times in the home screens. The number did not change at all before and after my round, it stayed exactly the same.

Don't the courses you play have to be handicap rated before you earn VC from them? I thought I saw that somewhere but I cant remember where... Ported courses are set back to zero for total plays correct?

I was getting rewards for local play on my own courses that are not hcp rated, just not sure if I got them when playing societies

Doesn't need to have a handicap rating, but I think it does need to have that other icon, whatever it is supposed to be.

I have played more than 100 career, society and casual rounds and I have never once gotten the 25 VC for not exceeding the shot limit. It's yet another bug that 2K/HB could care less about fixing because it could potentially cost them micro transaction sales. How could even the most trivial QA testing have missed this?
So is this a documented bug? is it random when it happens?
I played 3 rounds tonight. Two of them were my career, and one of them was 2nd round TGC q school.

The game tells me that I got 25 VC but my VC total does not increase. Make a note of your VC count before your next round and see if it actually increases.
I have been. Thats what this thread is about. I have been trying to figure out if it was just me, or why I wasn't getting anything.
You are actually the first person (I think) that has verified that you aren't getting them either.
I have been getting them once in a while though, trying to figure out if there is a reason, or what is going on.

I don't really understand what you're suggesting I upgrade / or how I should upgrade it. |
