So I am not a hardcore gamer, so I don't know much about the technical aspects of the controller polling frequency, but I am on an XBox Series X. Is there a difference in the XBox from wired to wireless? I am assuming wired would be better? I played the Q wired, but want to make sure that's the right approach going forward! I'm not an expert on XB, but as far as I can see, it's 125hz wired or wireless. IF the control does actually bypass bluetooth when plugged in, then that might be a more reliable signal if you play near a lot of interference, but that's it. On PC, many people don't use Bluetooth, but rather the PC Xbox wireless controller which runs on 2.4H GHz frequency. If you plug it in and want to ensure you are running on the cable, pull the MS dongle (or turn off Bluetooth if that is what you are using). BTW, Microsoft says the wireless controller has better results than using Bluetooth, but of course, that means you have to buy another MS product. That said, I agree, it doesn't really matter for a Xbox controller since the polling frequency is hardwired into the controller.

Ok, question. I fired up my dusty XBOX ONE the other day and played 4 rounds for this first Qualifying Event. I was spraying it around pretty good, and I've since read about the XBOX controller issues some have mentioned.
Today I've decided to re-buy 2K23 on STEAM for PC, and ditch the XBOX controller and Xbox One for 2K23, after hearing good things about the PS5-DS controller and PGA2K23.
I just went to the store and bought a new PS5 DS controller, and just loaded up 2K23 on the PC and took some swings on the range.
Can I qualify on my new PC setup for 2K23, or should I just sit this one out and try it on a future week?

Any update on possible rough estimate of what scores will put you where on the tour?

You'll be placed somewhere since you finished 4 rounds, unless you're scores aren't being seen for various reasons. Do you see your scores on the leaderboard? If the answer is yes, then you will either get a tour card, or you will be in the Qualifying Pool that plays each week on the CC Society to try and earn a card.
Depending on your scores, you may earn a card with your XBox scores, or if they a low enough (I have no idea how you did), you will be in the Qualifying Pool, where you will try again each week to try and earn a card until you do get one.
Either way, if you prefer to play your rounds on PC going forward, then on the tgctours main site you should click on the little circle with a person in it icon in the upper right. You can change your platform (PC/XBox/Playstaion) there, and add your new gamer tag into the appropriate place. This will switch you over to TGCT seeing your new scores on a new system and setup. Don't forget about the 3rd party opt-in option you need to opt in to on the PC version if you do decide to play there.

Any update on possible rough estimate of what scores will put you where on the tour? Just a guess, but you look like maybe Elite, maybe CC-A. We will all find out early next week.

Sitting home and waiting to see how far my +5 falls as scores come in from around the TGCT universe. I was T-1420 a few minutes ago, so I see a 1600th or so. CC-J ?? A lot of us at plus 5 had one 'blowup' round, but played pretty well.
Liked the course, for some reason rd3 was a struggle to get to 80, but it wasn't the rain as rd4 was a solid E.
"Magic balls", LOL. Personally, I give props to folks who can shoot close enough to make 'shorter' than 160 greens palatable, and put 'em to use. I like a 164 or better '100%' reading for putting, and will deal with the slopes as needed on approaches. Or try to.
Good luck everyone, have a great season !

At +11 and on R4 countback, I'm exactly 100 places above the last projected tour card. Do I have to sweat for 24 hours or will that many people really not complete all four rounds?

Unless a bunch of people shoot really well in the next 2 days, +5 is definitely higher than CC-J. A significant number of the scores above you 1) will add more to their score and fall below you (there are over 100 golfers who could easily do that) and B) there will be golfers who don't finish their rounds and you move up. There are nearly 200 incomplete rounds currently above you on the list. An amazing number won't finish.

There are more than 200 hundred above you who have not completed their rounds. Yes, many will not complete their rounds. But there also players who will shoot all 4 rounds this weekend. At +11 most of us believe you are safe, but we will all have to wait until next week to find out.

Pretty happy with my +3 overall…Ive never played on master level before this game so with not much practice going into the qualifier I was at -3 through the first two rounds. Then the rain rounds were brutal to me…finish 75-73.
I need to figure out how to hit greenside bunker shots…im getting killed there.

Just wondering, do the guys shooting -50 and better on Master feel like it is easy to hit perfects? I am all over the map! I was doing really well on master at first but lately I have ZERO consistancy and cannot find a comfortable way to sit/stand/swing etc... If it is really that easy for them, wouldn't it make sense to allow for 3 click as an alternative for those who don't have the consistancy with the swing. Master 3 click is also really hard so I don't see why it is not an option when the game creators seem to have made the two options as fairly equal in terms of difficulty

Not to mention the fact that 3 click would create more parity among the tours and especially at the top of the WGR. If the guys at the top struggle sometimes as well and wont always be at the top in every tournament like previous years then I see no issue but if these guys are going to be dominating all year (whether due to ability or external factors such as best connection or some special technique that others are not aware of) then many people are going to lose interest again because it is pointless to play if you know you can never compete with the best no matter what because you thumb will not cooperate consistantly. #Freethe3CLICK!

"Lose interest again"? Think you might need to show your work on this one. I think most of us have no illusions of ever competing with the top Plat players, yet still find enjoyment in competing to see just how far we can go. I really don't think you're the voice of the majority here.
