Hi all,
If you stumble upon or happen to know of courses that you think would be suitable for TST in season 9, using 2k23 with its much more difficult putting (even on average speed greens), please reach out to me; your assistance is greatly appreciated, especially in these first few months of adjustment!!
Best wishes Frans

I’ll put forward my first port to 2k23, West Hill Golf Club (L).
Completely renovated this UK top 100 course, the greens provide a pretty stiff no grids challenge

Gonna try to work on this today and play some courses from the new 2K23 list. This thread might be good to keep an overall course list divided by location that we can keep updating as new courses appear.

Just working out with Ben on how to port effectively as was called a different name in 2k21, should get done today at the latest

I've ported it now - in the database it shows as "West Hill Golf Club 2k21" but in game it's "West Hill Golf Club (L)" I've asked the team to update this

Jotted down all the courses with locations that are so far listed on the new 2K23 Course List but there are so many missing. I guess the regular season starts next week and I think Houston and Georgia are on the schedule coming up. I guess I can search for courses according to last year's schedule until we get the new one set up. I thought it would be good to try to match the region of the tourney with the course but I know it won't work out every week, especially early on.

East Lake Official!! 😝
I would highly recommend Cape Naturaliste, a gem that no one other schedulers have founded yet I think. And Dunstan Head is a very solid course. It was played in Elite somewhere in the past, but it's a open course with big greens.

Yeah, lots of courses missing and Houston and Georgia indeed coming up... I'll be forced to pick courses a "few" miles away...

First and foremost, we'd like to play the course that the PGA IRL plays that week. Now, obviously, that is not always possible because the course is either not available or not playable on TST (without grids). In those cases, I try to pick another RCR that is either located in the same region IRL or that plays somewhat the same as the IRL course. With the limited number of RCRs available right now, really what I'm looking for now is good RCRs: good means playable, looks and feels like an RCR, greens that are not overly tricky so that I do not have to slow them down to silly slow, fairways and bunkers that can be seen from the tee, etc.. However, I make exceptions to those "rules" if a course is just too good/fun to ignore.

And the other two courses you mention are not (yet) in the 2k23 database... the limited number of courses available so far, especially RCRs, is my main challenge in the early parts of the season.

I do worry that if.the arcade balls can't be locked out people will be forced to play them . For people like us who like to take on the course as it is they ruin a fair competition as ridiculously we are then play the course with different conditions. I have really enjoyed playing the last 2 events as the set up has been great and always enjoy Wade's courses. I do b%& about bunker chipping but have b%&ed about it in previous games also. My sand saves with splash are very good but people just don't like to practice the shot.

I have two fictional courses I created that play and appear realistic(IMO).Amohalko Springs was on CC last year and Squirrel Hollow was a fall look that I published originally in August. Both have solid views, wide fairways, and reasonable greens.Maybe you can check them out.
