First and foremost, we'd like to play the course that the PGA IRL plays that week. Now, obviously, that is not always possible because the course is either not available or not playable on TST (without grids). In those cases, I try to pick another RCR that is either located in the same region IRL or that plays somewhat the same as the IRL course. With the limited number of RCRs available right now, really what I'm looking for now is good RCRs: good means playable, looks and feels like an RCR, greens that are not overly tricky so that I do not have to slow them down to silly slow, fairways and bunkers that can be seen from the tee, etc.. However, I make exceptions to those "rules" if a course is just too good/fun to ignore. Frans are TST going to make sure default balls are playable on the set ups this season. I do worry that if.the arcade balls can't be locked out people will be forced to play them . For people like us who like to take on the course as it is they ruin a fair competition as ridiculously we are then play the course with different conditions. I have really enjoyed playing the last 2 events as the set up has been great and always enjoy Wade's courses. I do b%& about bunker chipping but have b%&ed about it in previous games also. My sand saves with splash are very good but people just don't like to practice the shot. At least for the time being, I aim to select courses and set conditions that are playable with default balls. I always play test every pin with default balls myself. Cannot promise this will be the case long term - depends on what happens with updates and how many great courses turn out to be unplayable in the end.

Hi Frans, What specific things make a good TST course? Many of us have ported and published to 2K23. I would love to see a few of them on the TST circuit. However, I make exceptions to those "rules" if a course is just too good/fun to ignore. For sure, I mean, that's what I would do. Everyone here is on the same page I think and I still feel like the one thing the course database needs is a location sorter but many times even on RCR's, locations aren't listed in the descriptions. That's why I think we should grow a masterlist of courses on this thread that we can add to when we find a new one. We just copy and paste and add the new courses we find. A nice easy list with the course name and location/region. I can work on this further on the weekend since I need to practice. I'll search using the 2K21 list but it'll be easier once I see what regions we're going to. For the time being, I can work off of the 2022 schedule. It is possible, if you want, to have us go on an Australian swing at some point - we have Peninsula Kingswood, Royal Melbourne, and New South Wales. --- Also, a few weeks, you won't have to worry about region - like the Bahamas one, we played Port Royal and I doubt there's much else for that territory. Christmas and New Year's can be anything anywhere.

I'm very tempted to indeed create a bit of an Australian swing...the names of the tournaments won't make sense, because I already had to create the schedule for the full season, but I'm very tempted nonetheless.

fransslabak , williamwes626 I am currently updating 2 lidar courses which are in Virginia lol. Newport News GC and Golden Horseshoe GC (Gold Course). I have a 3rd Lidar course Kinlock GC (also in Virginia) but when I tried to port it the object meter was 162%. I'm not sure I can get the object meter below 100% and still do the course justice. I also have a Hawaiian course which is published and approved. Mauna Kea GC - Hawaii

Added a few to the course list including Torrey Pines, a couple of NY courses and 3 Japan courses - all Stephen Irish.
Just noticed there are some weeks missing from the new schedule.

Shinnec0ck by pobee10 is exceptional, highly recommended! might need those 155's though, the greens are merciless! Either that it's friction ball time!

Just played Darby Creek Golf Club again in 2k23 Amateur Club & Tour (a true sim style society). Leader is -5 (1 round). Course is a good but fun challenge. Lots of rolling fairways and elevation changes from fairway to green. Getable course, but tricky greens if you aren’t close to the pin. Just really love the aesthetic of it being a modern styled links course. Give it a play if you haven’t yet. www.tgctours.com/Course/Details/28557

If you're still in need of RCR courses, and are OK with one that tips out at around 6,500 yards, I have a recreation of the Charleston Muni called "Charleston Muni Redesign" in 2K23. It was ported over from 2K21 and is a template hole course that was re-constructed in 2020. It features template holes and some interesting greens.
It's only "approved" in the TGCT database, but I assume that's due to the short length of the course. I know you're looking for more RCRs, and so I figured I'd chime in with this one.
