I will not disagree, that statement right there is probably a lot more true than I am wanting to admit to myself.   Plus I'm old (like over 55 old).  LOL I think that has a bit to do with it also.

Bumping timing to 96 does help me though, it at least gets things out of the black more into the grey area a lot more!

well with announcement that the CC tours will be Master swing i gave the current practice event a go

I have played 3 rounds and dont think i can finish the event and keep my sanity. I am +30 after 54 holes.
This is not fun, i really envy those that have mastered the tempo and can play the game without fear of slow/fast/v.slow/v.fast but never perfect, i too used fittings to get my stats to 100 on timing but alas it made no difference to the irons from the fairway or tees. If i knew it would be slow or fast regularly i could play to that as i do in real life , i have a fade/slice so i aim left each shot.
I will do the qualifying just for sh*ts and giggles but cant really see me playing on the tours. This is a game and as such should be fun, it isnt , at least not for me. I can tee off and i can putt, i cannot do anything in between even though each swing feels the same.
The game also has many graphical flaws...i hit into the stands but i now play my next shot from somewhere inside these stands..Really its 2022 surely they can have come up with drop zones, i can still stand on top of the water to play a shot, my golfer plays certain shots with a broken wrist and stands mere inches from the ball, i go back to Tiger Woods 08 and i still think that is a better game than this

Rant Over, money wasted

Here is hoping the EA game is not tempo based and i can get back to actually enjoying playing online golf

I am +45 after 36 holes and I was CC-K last year. Suspect I will be CC-L at best, but enjoy the Q and I hope it goes well for you!
