Please, please, please re-enable keyboard shortcuts. Using the numbers (even though it wasn’t the keypad numbers) made moving through the designer so much quicker.

Relayed all of it. FYI, our bug reports are always just posting into the void (you barely ever get a response, even acknowledging receipt), but it's flagged.

I hope they can get back on the horse with the core of the program as they seem to be more focussed on hyping the game right now.

It's nice to know there are more of us than I originally thought (thought it was just Mattf and I using MKB for a while there)
For now there's no real benefit of working in this designer, rather I work in 21, then port it near the end of the project. Workflow is so ridiculously slow.
-Currently unable to hold down A or D and plant with mouse click at the same time

And yet another thread validating my non purchase. What a great shame. Ruining the designer is akin to shitting where you eat. Well done 2K.

Added the other issues to the bug report. Keep posting them in here (particularly the mouse/keyboard ones, as I won't discover those myself) and I'll forward them along.

b101 Q rjwils30 I don't think you can report these as bugs, they just simply removed 2k21 shortcuts and tried to revamp/move the shortcuts into 2k23 for a "easier workflow?", that only really complicated things. My BIGGEST issue right now, is that I can not hover over a spline and select it. As a matter of fact, the spline doesn't even show up when I hover over it, it just tells me on the left side panel that "splint point" is selected and then I'm unable to left click on it to select and move. To do this - I have to hover over a spline point I can't even see, I then have to hit the "enter" key and it then this brings me to the next left panel page to select what I want to do with the spline point (move, edit, etc) then I have to hit "enter" again to actually do something with the spline. And if that's not enough steps, if I bump my mouse in this process, and move away off the splint point......I have to start all over! In 2k21 - Hover over spline, click, move it.I am going to have to move back over to 2K21 for the designer portion, because the workflow is so much faster. But I made a huge mistake, I moved my current WIP over to 2k23 and didn't like the workflow and tried to move it back to 2k21 and that didn't work so well, it's not backwards compatible......so I will have to finish that course in 2k23. problem is that in 2k23 I can't rotate and multi plant at the same time, it won't allow us to do that either. Again, not complaining, it's just frustrating.

Added to the list. The 2K UK guy, who is great, has escalated the issues to their developers. Hoping that helps.

I think I’ll be designing in ‘21 because without keyboard functions it’s nearly impossible.

Anyone else notice/mention the "orientation" control not being precise? In other words, my ported course was set at 130.2. I was adding a bunker so I changed the orientation temporarily to shine some light where I was working and when I went back I could only get the orientation to move in increments of about 3 degrees. My only options were something like 129.6 or 132.2. Couldn't get it back to 130.2. Not a huge deal, but annoying...

Again, not complaining, it's just frustrating. Agree. The spline selection and modification is painful. Like you said it’s a guessing game trying to find spline points. Once found after aimlessly clicking around for a while then you have to click it again-select “spline point”-select “move”-…and then…select “move point” which seems totally redundant. They need to change the tool as you suggest so it’s quick and intuitive to use. Otherwise I like the new spline tool. I like how you can connect a spline and it auto fills. What’s crazy is you would think they would have someone use the designer before releasing it. Surely they’d realize these issues as they are all pretty obvious and fundamental to the design process. How are the Console designers finding it? Are most of the issues with keyboard control?
