Did the punch shot make a comeback? I miss that from the first version of this game.

It is looking good so far but I assume all these preview players have been playing on PC. Do we have any idea what it will be like on either console? Or does XBox testing start on the 11th October? 😉

But they didn't fix the big high hop glitch? What about the green glitch? It's when the ball hits the green and accelerates speed instead of slowing down.

Great video by respawntv comparing some aspects of 2K23 vs 2K21. Well done!

Great video by respawntv comparing some aspects of 2K23 vs 2K21. Well done! Really informative video although I’m not convinced the swing animation is better from a genuine technical capacity in relation to real life; In the new game the avatar gets the club way across the line at the top which is indicative of a very inside backswing whilst 2k21 the club is in a more orthodox position at the top (I.e. almost hiding behind the hands, even though the clubface is slightly weak / open). If you watch most top tour players, there’s only a few who get the club across the line, most modern players prefer to have the club similar to 2k21 or even slightly laid off at the top. Not convinced that’s a step forward for the animation moving to a swing animation you’re more a likely to see amateurs adopt

Great video by respawntv comparing some aspects of 2K23 vs 2K21. Well done! Whilst Respawn didn’t touch on it, the other slightly concerning thing is the avatar with shot shaping; In 2k21, your avatar would noticeably change body alignment for fades and draws and the swing path animation changed as such, you could visibly see whether you were lining up a shaped shot. In 2k23 the avatar stays neutral so it’s very difficult to get an indication on how severe a draw or fade you’re trying to shape. Not sure if it was highlighted during the testing but personally I prefer the 2k21 animation on shot shaping from what I’ve seen

The aiming change in 2021 was much appreciated (by me anyway) and I am unhappy to see it go back to the way it was in 2019.

Hi, will it be possible to use the 3-click Swing in TGC Tours ? I would like it, since its newly entered the game... Or will there be an extra tour for 3-click?
